tbh i would have a quick run without the filter element in place for a 100% sure check..if it runs fine above 4000k youll know then ...hth
-
i had this problem on an old 3.0 v6 406 coupe .turned out to be air system blocked and not letting enough air in ..
exactly same symptoms as your getting
-
yea iv apologised for the inconvenience ..totally my error pal ...Adrian is sorting it out monday ....I know now for future referenceIn Adrian's defence
If I order somthing from the likes of demon tweeks just for example! they have office hours and if there are not open there not open
You have to wait untill office hours for a reply
-
yea i do need to work on that tbh.In the future, I would humbly suggest less haste and more speed.
-
okay thanks might be best for future situations lol .Well, by reading this, sounds like I'm avoiding you for 2 days already:
rang him and text messaged him for last two days mate ...sent messages via Torqen FB and PM off here .no reply as of yet to any
when it's not even 24 hrs since you received the parts, according to the tracking
https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item?trackNumber=KK238713810GB
again, it's still weekend
I'll tell you what, I'll add you on the WhatsApp group, it's a bit like Emergency Situations ONLY
There's about 60-70 people in there.
iv updated and let everyone know its sorted and iv spoke to you ..
ill dl what's app
-
thank you Adrian and i will do the same ..Yes, no problem, will be shipped tomorrow.
sorry for any inconvenience
-
at least i got something right lolThe braided line it's fine, you ordered this one:
can you ship the 03-04 slave in morning please and ill send the 05-07 one back first thing and send confirmation of delivery via PM
-
also will the braided hose i ordered for the slave fit or does it have to be swapped too ?
-
damn ..yea the one iv ordered is 05-07 .
can we sort delivery of the 2004 model one asap please
-
sorry my error ..i clicked the link you provided and added to cart ...didnt think about the model year as weve done business before and just assumed on my part that it would fit .
i have sent you a PM and yes my model is a 2004 DE cheers
-
dont know why people are saying weeks!
i posted a query about the link you sent me stating that the slave quoted it was for 05-07 models .
i never once said your were intentionally ignoring me and just wanted confirmation that the part was correct before any attempt was made fitting it and thus unpacking it for use .
also i am now aware that your a company run by only a few people which is why i couldn't get another/business number to speak to someone.
no bad intention intended and iv stated clearly on posts that the parts arrived exceptionally quick and iv done business with you before with a positive outcome .

i beleive GM just pointed this out to me ...thanks for the reminderPlease stop creating work for the Team and post in the right areas in the first instance. You've been told more than once and it's getting old.
On topic - it's a Saturday. He's probably having a well earned weekend off.
-
rebooked the garage for Tuesday now .and yea im not touching a thing ...cba with any more problems atm .What Gassy has said you dumbwit:
Just swop over the original banjo bolt and the 2 copper washers.
All DE slaves are the same no matter the year.
You really are a lost cause mate so might be a good plan to get the garage to sort out the mess that you now find yourself in as you won't be able to bleed the hydraulics on your own. .
-
thanks Alex ..tryed the search function and google but couldnt get that info anywhereAll DE slaves and lines and banjos are the same.
Can't comment on what Stoptech you have bought tho'
-
cheers Alex ...im not that badI think that I would be avoiding you as well.
-
hi GM yes i was going to post in Torqen section but as iv got no replys to previous formats inc PM on here I thought he might not see it anyhow ...my thoughts were maybe he is away on holiday etc and was looking forva company number rather than his mobile ...wasnt aware its a small company with minimal staff .Second time you've started a thread like this wilo....
Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/111291-torqen-phone-number/
...as well as the second time you've not posted it in the Torqen area. Although in fairness I do recognise you're asking if anyone has a different number for him this time.
Adrian is a good guy but you have to bear with him sometimes as I don't believe he has a multitude of people working with him like some companies do. I'm sure he'll get back to you asap.
and yea i know he's a good guy iv delt with Torqen before and spoke to Adrian a lot ...
just need the parts checking with him to make sure they are right for my 04 DE thats all ...
if not im quite certain the problem (if any) will be rectified
-
does anyone know if there a difference between the 2004 & 2005-7 stoptech 350z slave cylinder?
i think i have a stoptech 05-07 slave and need to know if ...
1) will it fit/work on my 2004 DE
2) will the banjo bolt from my original 2004 slave fit the new 05-07 stoptech unit
EDIT ...i also have a new braided hose with the stoptech unit ...the one with the banjo fitment
-
rang him and text messaged him for last two days mate ...sent messages via Torqen FB and PM off here .no reply as of yet to anyTry a pm and/or the email message on his website
-
not sure if it will fit tho mate ...my cars a 2004 DE and the new stoptech unit says 05_07Ok on the old unit you need to remove the bolt/union that is in the circle end of the pipe.Be careful as there will be x2 washers that need to go both sides of the pipe when you are bolting the two units together.
-
has any one got another number for Adrian? apart from the one ending in 9999
think iv been sent wrong parts and need it sorting asap as car booked in monday
-
okay guys these arrived this morning (cheers Adrian for super fast delivery)

no not using her for drifting on track mate ...after the curb incident its set me back £700+ so im gona be treating her with kid gloves for a long while lol.If you are using it for drifting you wont really be able to look at the pressure gauge and or temp guage , why not just fit a large red light and/or buzzer that triggers at 1 bar , that way as soon as the pressure drops you can get off it , same for oil temp really , one at say 150 degrees
im just wanting a way of keeping a reliable eye on parameters with her been a high milage lady .
wouldn't mind a gauge that tells me of engine oil level too as that dipstick on my DE is a freaking nightmare
-
cheers Ninja ill get on ebay and have a look at themThere's an oil pressure sensor already in the sump, you just need to unplug it and put a y piece in (got mine from eBay for about £6) and then fit the standard and aftermarket sensors into the ypiece. The gauge will come with the relevant cables to go to the sensor

in Wheels
Posted
just got my car back from the garage and the mech said wheres your spigot ring for the new rota gtr alloy .
he said check the old damaged rota to see if it was on there but it isnt ...so have i got it missing or do rotas not need spigot rings?
i rang back to see if other side had one but he said he cant remember .
I can check other side myself as soon as its daylight again but thought one of you guys might know saving me jacking it up and taking wheel off
