This one is a bit more tempting at £25k @5k miles probable list price £32 . My Nismo is valued at £22k PE so a bit more and can swap for this
The facelift (attached also) has a stubby aerial. Do you think this is a simple swap should one want to save cash and get the pre-facelift?

Based in NW London. Bear in mind there will be a lead time in getting myself the Mk1s due to Covid affecting shipments between international suppliers. Also note the domestic lockdown restrictions . So possibly looking like April/May by time I get new rims and restrictions ease

Looking to sell as I want to replace with Mk1 Nismo Silvers (09-12). Therefore looking to achieve £1500 ballpark as the Mk1s are not cheap and I will likely get hit by a 15% tax bill importing them here
Condition: Mint, Very Good (2 v short gash marks) and 1 Good (surface kerbing). Not v noticeable due to the design of the rim fortunately
Tyres are stock Dunlop Supermaxx GT600 - have about 3.2mm tread depths. Last inspected by Nissan early Feb. Obviously the passenger side tyres slightly more worn then driver's side due to the camber of the road. Can give you the exact tread measurements taken by Nissan if interested.

I think it might just be orientation the grill might not be angular looking head on. Ill assume it is but even the current ZP looks a bit like that side on. Just the sides of the grill give the game away with the straight angle. I think they might do that for the Nismo version and a vent for brake cooling. Could also be an indentation like the current car.
Aftermarket will make a killing. Id have been drawing up aftermarket bumpers already and kits to go on the rear
after watching that spinaround video and this I get what you are saying now . Its not like a sqaure cut off but slanting forward somewhat. Perhaps the contrasting yellow colour draws even more attention to this. Might benefit also from a front plate splitting the front a bit more

Never takes long for a thread to get crapped all over
People think that a tyre change is a tyre change regardless of the car 😆

It has def got character which is rare for an Audi
Esp in this colour combo

Would love these if the Z had a black outline to it

well done on the car. Im sure it is a joy to drive
Lovely photos - I can appreciate the scenery as much if not more then the car (hope that doesnt come across offensive lol). Looks peaceful

And the thing is that's not even the facelifted Megane. So it will have the older lights on the rear.

Certainly the aftermarket are going to do really well on this model. Nissan seem to have helped as the car is so plain (in a good way) that it opens the door to cosmetic mods. Not sure how a rear spoiler will flow with the existing design though tbh Quad exhaust and new front end for sure
Edit: Actually I think the rear doesn't really work with that cut off gloss back diffusor section. It looks a bit off ?

Apologies if slightly clickbaity title
As you guys know I love my wheels. As per title what do you think these two will have to drop to before someone is crazy enough to buy? Already been reduced a grand since I have had eye on them. Fully loaded
Side Question: Would you need to go to a specialist to get tyres swapped? Whats the general look after protocol for these?

Can understand why some people don't like the V2s - probably because the V1s were that damn good lol - the V1s look very impressive when the car is in motion also. I like the v2s but they were a tough act to follow indeed!
Quick question - is there clear coat applied to that lettering on top? Heard ppl using vinyl and then clearcoat on top
Re Pricing - they are expensive initial outlay but arguably Nismo rims are one of the most desirable one can have on a Z. Should actually make the car more desirable itself if looked after well

When i ordered them from torque i was only given the gunmetal option, a good friend of mine who does sign writing and pin stripping well we done each other a favour for a favour, as for the rims they were around £2800+tyres =4k
Did the Mk2 Rims come with Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT600 front and rear (like my MY 2018 )
Noticed you gone for Michelins on your new gun metal Mk1s - any reason>?
-
Looking at it again it's ever so slightly over styled which is unsual for Audi. Problem with a tech fest of an interior is that it will date within 5 yrs
-
Hopefully the design team incorporate a sense of "emotion" into the final product - its something every sports car needs. this one cant come across like an appliance

Love what you have done. Mind me asking but how much did you pay for the lettering and the set of rims?
Any reason you went for the gun metal V1s as opposed to silver V1s?

How much are they? I prefer the V2 Rims but in Black with the chrome tips factory. Sets off the car. I dont mind V1 rims theyre different.
Yes that's the thing someone said to me that whilst the V1s are stunning the V2 compliments the rest of the car's styling. The V2s have that two tone look to them. Mine are in very good condition. Just that dark rims are a bit of a cliche thesedays. Athough imo to properly appreciate silver rims the car needs to be black, blue or silver itself

Pondering whether I should replace my Mk2 Rims on my white 2018 370z Nismo for Mk1s.
The Mk1 rims came in two forms - silver and gun metal. The former are more expensive for some reason. I am thinking silver suits darker cars more. However if I am going through the effort of selling existing rims/buying replacements isn't it worth going for a different look entirely?

May be of interest but the Mk2 has a different exhaust to the Mk1 in terms of manufacteres -
V1 = Autech
V2 = HKSI think Nismo bidded out the contract to whoever could make them cheap in enough as both exhausts are the same spec although some have reported a slight sound difference in stock form

Hi buddy i went for that with the rims, i have 2020 nismo i sold the v2 rims, and now have the v1 rims, pricey but nice wheels
Do you have any photos mate or DM? I'm thinking of doing the exact same thing. Did you go for V1 09-12 Silver or 13-14 Gun Metal?
