For me its the interior that lets it down. Sure the recaro seats are nice but the rest, well its just any old focus interior. Doesnt feel special enough inside

Hammered the overtime at work and treated myself to some accessories from BMW. Exhaust, diffuser and front splitter. Transformed the car! Pops n crackles like a good 'un now!

Dropped price on filters to £50 to sell. Sat doing nothing in the loft!

I found it really easy after following instructions on internet. Trick was to get clean masking lines, and spray decent coats on. Never let it fully dry before next coat, and on the final coat remove the masking tape immediately and it should come off in a clean edge as its still wet. If any layer has dried it'll pull and peel. Sounds daft but also using genuine Plastidip and not eBay rubber coat stuff. For spray coverage a tip I found out was to put the can in warm water for 10 mins before spraying, and that the American cans have better spray nozels compared to UK cans. Seller on eBay has the american cans but cant remember the name

Rear windows now tinted thanks to Yorkshire Tinting in York. Really nice guy that did them, had the 370z done by them too. Happily recommend. Gone for an 85% tint, OEM look. Should probably stop spending money now hah!

The kit from BMW came with 4 lenses to use which is pretty cool, think the M is the best of the lot though. Cant really use the "X" for Xdrive seeing as I dont have that hah

List price for mine was £39.8k and whatever the 5 year service pack cost. I parted with £28.5k for it 1 year old and 13k miles on the clock. Someone lost some money on it! Just bought and fitted some of the LED Door projectors BMW sell. Probably a marmite thing but I love them

Comparing mine to an M2, I cant see where the extra £20k worth of car is! Crazy list price on M2's. Definitely a rich mans toy one of them!

I've given it a download and had a dabble round local park. Problem was.... bloody O2, internet signal kept dropping, and then the servers kept going down. Sods law

It was the only thing I didnt like about my 370z when I first got it, that it was too quiet, especially compared with the 350z. Was expecting that 3.7 to growl hard and it never did, until I booked in to the Longlife place near me. Had to go for the jap look and get titanium burnt tip slash cut. Then combined with the induction kit, it really roared. Best sounding car I've ever owned by far!

I wonder are these the new BMW lights that sense oncoming traffic and bend the beams around it rather than dipping? I think thats the laser lights in use on the i3 and i8 that have that technology, the OLEDs from what I just googled are restricted to side lights and brake lights and arent yet bright enough to be used as headlights and indicators, so I'll have a stab the M240i will just have fancy new angel eyes up front, not as exciting as I first thought now. Well N54 hasn't show like a reliable engine at all. Hope with N55 is different story Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk I've not heard any horror stories as of yet, 2 years BMW warranty just in case though lol. The N54 was never strong enough for 2 turbos, guessing thats why they dumped it for a twin-scroll single turbo instead to make the N55
