  1. I had a google to see what the big changes were, and as you said a few more ponies/torque. Xenons being replaced with the OLED headlights, I wont lie that would have been a selling point for me haha. Im a sucker for fancy lights. Oh and xDrive being an option which is quite a biggy, wouldnt bother with that though after test driving an S3 Saloon. The Haldex setup was great, really fast, but no fun. The only thing I don't like is that there is no dipstick! I really hope the technology to read the oil level is accurate in the computer.
  2. Rumour is its going to be sponsored by a certain golden arched fast food chain soon.... Every McDonalds will become a location to go to in the game, free wifi.... where theres money I guess hah
  3. Still taking some getting use to, its my first auto. I think thats a bit of the appeal blending in to the crowd. My 370z got a lot of attention, I mean it was bright blue after all. Attention can be good or bad. I've found people reluctant to let me out of junctions as well, must be the BMW badge haha. Wish I'd have held out to get an M240i when they are released over here, but got an amazing bargain on this so couldnt say no. Adaptive lights with High Beam Assist is such a weird and wonderful feature of the car.
  4. I also had a Longlife pair of back boxes, they are custom jobs. I went for the burnt titanium tips and soundwise asked for something with grunt, but wouldnt drone on the motorway and he got it spot on.
  5. After owning the 370z for just over a year I had to say goodbye to her to make room for the beemer! BMW M235i with all the toys, auto too. Fantastic little pocket rocket that blends into the crowd a bit now. Was thinking about an older GTR but wanted newer car for peace of mind with warranty etc.
  6. Amazing motors arent they! I recently chopped the Z in for an M235i. Also got the auto, amazing gearbox. You had it in launch mode yet?
  7. I used Plastidip on mine, was never sure about the Glossifier after though. Found it incredibly hard to spray and get a proper gloss coat, it always seemed to look patchy to me. Looked great though!
  8. Well im afraid my ownership was short lived! Owned for just over a year and now I now need more than 2 seats so shes gone. I have ventured to German side, but still remained RWD and fast at least - BMW M235i
  9. Thought I'd post up as the other topic is about 2 years old now, Before and after of the roof chip I did myself using the Chipex kit. Was a bit apprehensive about 100% colour match guarantee but I was more than impressed! Easy to use, gets a thumbs up from me. And then some pics of the Chipex on my beemer (as I've had to join the 'need more than 2 seats' club )
  10. I had a Tony Banks/Long Life set of back boxes on my 370z too. Absolutely amazing noise, and didnt drone when cruising either! Never grow up haha
  11. Here we go, fresh pic from today after a clean. Also with the Plastidip'd front piece and badge back to normal Previous owner put the GT Edition side strip on, even though its only a GT. Quite like it tbh hah
  12. Hey guys, names Joe. I've actually had my 370z for just shy of a year but thought I'd finally join up and say hello. From Leeds so you might have seen me a few times up at Squires if anyone goes to the Jap meet 1st Tues of the month. Here she is with a friends Evo. Not the best pic
