hated that on my m3. Although the electronic one was pretty accurate its always good to be able to have a look yourself, especially on a car that does use a lot of oil.
-
Biggest problem you had with the e46 was that it wasn't a e92 ha. There wasn't much you could do with it interms of modding, you'll need to give me a lend of the skyline to fill the void of me selling the m3 too lol

Yip defo. Won't be as fun doing it in the insignia tho, but i guess i won't have to worry about fuel!

There was a TTS up at crail yesterday running mid 10s down the strip. Not sure what power is was running but it was ridiculously quick. Looked like he had possibly transmission issues on one of his later runs.

I keep me thinking about the option of the e92, but sadly, they just dont do it for me in the looks department. The e46 M3 looks so so much better than the std e46, but the e92 is just to subtle with its differences, probably perfect for some, but not for me
Have fun, can only see them going up in value slowly.
After years of owning focus ST and RS i was getting tired of every man and their dog hanging onto the bumper wanting a race, The RS would attract absolutely everything, hardly surprising with the way it looks i know. My M3 just blends in now and really only notice able to car people which suits me now. The e46 is stunning and has aged well.

Golf R
in Other Cars
No doubt the golf R is a very capable car but they are 10 a penny, see them so much it just doesn't feel special. Although its much slower I'd rather have a mk5 r32 purely for that engine sound.
-
If the engine gos alot of the guys replace it with the RS engine and turbo and go for 400+ bhp. That's worse case scenario tho.
-
They are great cars but they certainly have their faults, luckily I never had any problems with mine but my mate has one and for the last year had nothing but hassle with it, and his is stock!

if you're nice I might even let you drive itSounds like a really good weekend and would look forward to getting the RS out on the track, still think you should take the zed too, easy enough for Davie to change the cats over.
Aye your right Dude, will probably do that tbh........still gona blag a shot of the RS though

we've had 300bhp hot hatches since 2009.Hot hatches have come a long way since the 350z was first released, we're starting to see a new generation of hyper hatches with 300+ bhp as standard.

There is about 50kg difference between the 3dr and 5dr. Difference on 0-60 Isn't even worth talking about.

I had BC racing coilovers and whiteline RARB on my ST and it was like it was on rails, however it turned my spine into dustOh absolutely, the Z stiffens up at proper high speeds (120+ MPH), whereas the Focus becomes light on it's feet and doesn't feel half as planted, it's still not what I would consider to be bad or anything. My Old EP3 used to feel like it was going to take off at 120 MPH, the ST isn't like that.
In a straight line it's just no contest as you say, ST will pull away from the Z every time.
I think next on the cards after the CP340 set up will be suspension mods, breaks and good tires, I don't think it's necessary to keep chasing numbers at this point 340BHP is more than enough in this car.

Should maybe hit the gym get a little bit of muscle in they forearms 5 years of ST/RS ownership can say it really isn't as bad as people make out.

Can vouch for the e92 m3 as a daily. Fantastic car, has to have the dct obviously.
