Depreciation is something worth taking into account. My mate is looking at a BRZ and it was something like £25k new. You can get a second hand one few years old with about 15,000 on the clock for £14-15k. £10,000 drop in a few years is pretty steep.

 

Its not really , my 370z was £36500 new , less than 2 years later i paid £23k thats fairly typical

Dare I say a Focus RS ???. Head Turner, very fast, very reliable and available at your budget

Highly tuneable and handles like a go kart

I'd say +1 to the RS not that I'm biased lol

 

Plus the fwd showed a clean pair of heels to the Z on the track

Girlfriend had a 14 plate abarth 500 and now has a 16 plate abarth 595. Great little cars IMO never had a problem with either, plus boost is much better than the n/a of the twingo

I'm sure piston 4 can be a problem with them.

Brilliant day out and perfect for learners like myself and my dad, just a shame there wasn't as much cars out on the grip sessions with us.

Oops, 6 days, the pressure’s on! I moved from a 350Z which was ready for a trip around the world, nevermind Scotland to a car that I know very little about and that has a few niggles to sort out to make it fully enjoyable...

 

Be interesting to know what power peoples cars are putting out. Not that we will be driving fast at all...

I’m curious about this too, mine’s a 06 335i coupe mapped to 366bhp.

I'm 320bhp and 340lbft. Should be 340bhp but was down on power on my dyno run. I think its due to the rubbish intercooler ford fit as standard

There's 370's coming, supercharged Zeds, and tuned N/A's, Celica GT4 and bimmers all coming along, plenty engine bay porn to be lusting over, obviously form an orderly que at my Zed ladies and gents pmsl.

Anyone know if the track has a new surface? Looked at videos on YouTube and the track surface is terrible but that was from 2011.

A guy over on the focus rs forum is currently doing the NC500 tour and gave me this heads up

 

 

Last thing we want is peoples pride and joy being damaged.
