  1. had the zed 3 years. Tyres were on when I bought it. I'de assumed they were good quality as its an expensive car £6700 I think. Should of checked I suppose. If you see the video I'm only doing 20 round the corner and not acceletating that hard. I've bought the bridgestones now and its too late to change as they are already being shipped. I expect I'll get the same for the front too.

  2. Having a look at tyres. I kind of get the 145/45 but the current crap ones are ZR18 100Y,

Looking at these, might go to Kwik Fit, maybe buy else where and get fitted at a local place I know that a friend goes to who are good.

assume these are the correct rating?

I can't afford two sets of tyres for winter and summer so can I just go for Winter tyres for all year round? I'll not be going on any track days.

  3. Hi and welcome. Sounds like you made up your mind already but here my thoughts. I had a 2001 225 TT Quattro before my 05 350Z DE. The TT was great handling and once the turbp kicked in (without much delay that I noticed) it flew up the road (When safe to do so and within the speed limit of course. The TT is smaller and so better with these crazy small parking spaces at supermarkets etc. I'm not as confident at tight bends and islands in the Z as I always think the back will kick out which is just me being an old fart probably. Turning circle of the Bismark is a bummer on the Z AS for price the TT are common as muck so you can pick up a bragain for a few grand. Glad to say I've had my 350 for about 3 years, paid £6,700 (including the £1000 I got P/X for the TT, which I paid £3K for 3 years before) and the Z is still worth about £6K I think. Though I've damaged the wheel arches and kirbed the wheels a bit so might knock some off.

Hope the ramblings of an old fart are usefull. Good luck with whater you buy. :-)

P.S TT great in the sanow, Zed don't even attempt it.

  4. Howdy Z fans, I've been searching for hours to find the bolt sizes for the front brace. I just bought the below items and want to get new bolts to make a better job when I get the job done at the garage. I can get the rear W brace fitting kit from Torqen. I did ask them about a kit for the front but not got a reply yet. I downloaded the manual and went through it but can't find the sizes or numbers I need.

  5. Hello. Hope I'm right that there are two W braces, one front and one back? I'de like to buy both, not fancy modded ones, car is my daily drive so don't need high performance. Torquen ones are over £200. I've sen some on Ebay cheaper but not sure of quality. Mine are rusted so might as well get both done while I'm having some other stuff done. Ideally I'de get new bolts and fixing to match too.

    Cheers

  6. Hi, noticed my belt was looking a bit worn and probably need changing. The one to the left which I believe is for the A/C was changed a few thousand miles ago so should be OK. Any recommendation where to get the belt from would be useful.

    Cheers
