My thought exactly, There were more zeds than gtr's there last year anyway. It just shows how "My bat, my ball" the gtr lot are.

the same GTR lot that dont even acknowledge 350s and 370s LOL. Suprise!! Only ever spoken to one in traffic. Young guy!

  2. I second what ponsonby said. If youre light on pedal you could do it on 1 tank and a bit. Cars quite forgiving on long stretches. It will be cheaper than transport

When I got mine i didnt want to wait, so i trekked up to Birmingham with my 350z nice drive, no fatigue. Got there under two hours from London. Then drove back the Nismo. Wow what an experience the first time. big difference over the 350. More torque and nicer all round

    I really hope you're kidding...?

And no-one who value quality audio buys anything with the Beats name on

Just an analogy, im no audio guru.

  4. Clutch issues like clutch burning. Nissan say to stop riding the clutch. Even though ive been driving 10 years and never had this issue. Of resting foot on clutch who does that. .

Anywho I seen that at mill hill they wouldnt let me take it as a courtesy lol. Depreciation of only £3000 from what a 10,000 mile one might cost you. I reckon you can get two years servicing or two services and breakdown as standard.

Test the clutch on a hill, holding it and see if you can smell it. Give it some and see. Drive on variety of roads and check if its tramlining. Check windows for clicking. See how it copes with braking.

The 350 is a more stable car on motorway. More economical, sounds better,

I meant the difference to the std 370z :)

The car has less body roll and is firmer and active. Theres a lot more going on in the steering over bad roads. If you watch tiff needells nismo gtr review. Put it this way if you got weedy arms youll get tired after driving it or grow new muscles. Steering and controls are heavier. Handling is different. You need to make adjustments when the tramlining occurs. Brakes are probably more firm but fade exists unless you change the discs to grooved and get performance pads etc

The car also tramlines under heavy breaking on bad roads

Hit a camber pothole etc youll be having to make adjustments. Thats your feedback. And ive been told by their technicians to live with it. :/

Meanwhile the 350 has none of these issues. And is more stable on motorway. Ride is firm

Cheers mate, currently staring at a Cellink B and a BlackVue DR750 right this moment actually. Waiting to get it fitted tomorrow.

I hear the plaintiff actually spoke against jailing the guy because of his kid. Can't say that I'd be as sympathetic to be fair...

Things usually work out for ppl in the aston owners case. Who knows from his sympathy, the guy probably never do it again after public exposure.

The messed up thing is police confiscate so much cash but do victims get funded for things like this. They just close the case and tell you to go through your insurance company.

I will check out that camera

  7. Youd have to get a standard for automatic. Gt version

Issues to look out for on new ones

    Clutch

    Tramlining

    Bootlid

    Clicking window

    Uneven tire wear

    steep depreciation on gt models

    Tires £400+ per pair

Drinks like an alcoholic, 19 mpg city

    Attracts hoodlums, tailgaiters etc

Budget exhaust aam short tails, invidia

    Good car though lol

  8. Rumours, no mention from gtr creator. Only that new gtr wont be around till 2021. So z may come first and be based of infiniti q60 black concept

Seems to be a lot of mention of suspension upgrades, never heard brakes before, can anyone tell exactly what these upgrades comprise of?

Ask adrian at torqen. He did his I think, I saw on youtube. Big brake kit. Bigger brembo calipers and discs

Similar to Payco! I chose to go for the rarer Mk1 Nismo so even fewer about plus i like the overall look better than the Mk2. the Nismo has suspension and brake improvement differences as well as the slight increase in HP. I like to mod my cars and the Nismo outside looks nearly spot on, just needs the exhaust sorting louder lol and i feel a must are improvements to the interior which nissan missed!

There are probably reasons for the exhaust being quiter than a renault...foreign cars seem to have more rules applied compared to the germans. Not sure why

Think about it for a second: How do you think a dealer is going to find a particular car for you, especially one as common (relatively) as the 350? They're just going to trawl PH, AT, eBay et al and see what's out there then charge YOU for that privilege.

Simple answer is no, unless you're looking for something very rare or unique than just do the legwork yourself. There's not exactly a billion combinations out there

I think americans sometimes do that especially if they live in the sticks. Crazy ppl ordering cars like pizzas.

Be prepared to catch a plane to.scotland, oh wait its a regular 350z loads of good ones around! Just got to look and be patient

And there’s the problem - I have no realistic means of prevention, short of moving house or chaining a Rottie to the rim spokes. The car is unfortunately parked out of line of sight to my property and on street, so all I can do is aim to catch whoever’s done it (or hopefully deter all but the most determined if they see the cam staring at them).

Believe me if I had a better option I’d take it! Not thrilled about the extra expense! :D

In any case - on the original question, is your Blackvue plumbed into your Z’s battery?

Go on ebay and look for cellink b main battery. Lasts 10 hours. Dashcam will come on from movement, vibration etc. Theres some good hidden style chinese ones available, then get a strip tint for more privacy they dont get tempted to try stealing camera

Well that’s the vid that I’m using as my reference, hence the points I raised. That video was enough to have the chap here sitting in the docks. You can see him reach for the car, and also clearly hear the key.

Perhaps need to think about it some more though.

Because he got a kid he got off scot free.....

Makes it sound more like a diesel repmobile. Fewer gear changes? Less throttle input? Oh yay.

Also, Active Sound Control? Wait, so like pumping fake sound into the cabin? Brilliant, just what a sports car needs.

You can enjoy the sounds of the car without disturbing the neighbourhood. Think beats by dre, studio version. The world hears are swoosh you hear robotic v6 sound from a sci fi movie. Lol

I'd settle for the hatch to actually open on the first attempt

Loool, this is caused by a useless weight underneath the boot trim weighing it down. Could be wrong but saw a youtube video on it.

Totally agree. Cars are terrible investments but I love and breathe cars so it’s totally a passion. And I have sufficient cash flow and a backup plan so think I’m going to go for it :-).

The amount of times a seller has said this is not an investment and I still clicked send on the transfer. I emptied my account on a 350Z. Cost £5000 couldnt sell it so many timewasters. Nissan bought it  for 3k and sent it to auction and took a hit of £400. £2600 to new owner. But I enjoyed it and the full exhaust system it had. The Z are full of character.

  17. Last year I really wanted to get down to many ace cafe meets, but went with the ill watch it on youtube idea. I rather go to organised events with mature owners. Lol. Sharnbrook is okay but far. Ace cafe is full of m cars and mustangs doing useless burnouts. Great for upcoming YouTubers. But would you really want to park you car anywhere near there.
