You're braver then me, there's no way I'd let someone drive mine like that.
Genuine question though, who is this guy? It's like he's sprung up from nowhere and everyone's letting him take their cars out. Shows that in the right hands 370z can certainly keep up with the competition
He works at the ring as a Ring Driver and Youtuber. Hes been around for a long time on YouTube.
Speaking of letting others drive. It was good to let my younger brother drive the Nismo and funny. Never got to drive his Supra 2JZ though. Its good to experience your car as a passenger.
Eddie you around next weekend, im just down the road. Can come look at your Z if you dont mind?

Factory location, it's a mag plate ✅
Magnets in the bumper and epoxy resin to hold them?

35 mpg plus on Motorway i found with the automatic being 7 speed. But i wrote a review about owning the Nismo. The above buyers guide still applies as i had a slipping clutch in the first Nismo i had not the second one though

They changed to Exedy after 18. I guess the complaints were too much to handle.

I bought my V1 similar time to you (Jan 2021) About a year ago I went to do a 2 year ownership write up and after reading your write up I honestly couldn't of put it any better then you had, so I never did
I've read so many journalists review on these cars and doesn't come close to yours!
Appreciate that sir! I still cant believe the price you got it and its condition. Ill keep an eye on your thread. Maybe youll be along on one of Daveys runs. I might not make the first ones as no car yet 😂

I remember researching the V2 Nismo after seeing one on A/T in December 2020, the one I ended up buying nearly two months later - I knew the Z cars but never heard of 'Nismo' to be honest.
Basically I went ahead after getting some real world owner's advice and opinion from this forum, plus Mark at Abbey M/S, who conveniently are only 10 miles from me.
I used to watch brosfourrspeed who had one with short tails. Then i went to Nissan to see it up close. They wanted £36,000 for a new one. So i had to get on the bike and get looking. Most V2 were £30,000 back in 17. I put deposit on one then a 6 month old popped up at £26,000. I called up straight away. Those were good times. My mate who had an E92 drove it and liked it. Although post 60 the bimmer takes off. Said it was nippy and it was about time you had a nice car. Years of running Civics, Pumas and VW stuff.

Not much out there that doesn't come with either a reliability penalty, higher insurance cost or some sort of con. I think this car has a good balance. Im considering another one because im still unsure about the rivals. Fortunately the only spend on my previous 3 Zs was servicing and the usual consumables.

I know someone that didnt service their car for 3 years just topped up oil covering 25,000 miles. Engine oil turned to sludge and was constantly cooking.
Anywho good luck with the search. Serviced at the very least annually. Ideally oil change every 6 months and all the fluids done at some point within 30,000 miles. Rust is common but can be sorted. Tax on my DE was 300+ not sure what it is now.. probably approaching £400.

Looks like an import. I rather get a UK spec

From what ive heard the route caters to travellers and petrol stations are in the towns. It is possible youd be driving 150 miles with no petrol station. Extra cannisters for emergencies makes sense. I never trusted these petrol additives but i heard they're good for raising the Octane level when only basic E10 is available

May just be to appease DVLA. Like the EU Supra has been dynoed at 370HP-380HP even though its stated at 335HP. May still be the case. DVLA/DVSA are not going to dyno the cars lol. Bloody GPF OPF gets switched out by new owners anyway
-
Take it to a wrap place. While doing your tints a 5iver lol....That part on my 370 went and all the road salt stones got into the window seal. So winding up and down scratched the window if it wasn't fresh out of the wash. Was going to replace but gave up in the end and sold it.

Better late than never. 9 months screening complete by DVLA lol...I think they could have designed a slicker dash and integrated a curve screen somehow. That doesn't make it look like an afterthought. But this style is the way many manufacturers are heading

My mate is about to sell his r8, re performance have said it's one of the best early r8s they have seen and it's you tube famous...
The thing about them is when they go wrong its nothing less than a couple of grand. Warranty wont cover everything especially with the age. Brakes are around £2400.....but its a nice car for the summer. Wouldn't keep it long term lol...
Probably level on maintenance costs vs GTR. I want the F Type but i dont fancy paying those rates for insurance lol...
