  1. Is the splitter a particular brand? Was going to see if I could get any pictures of one on a car to see what it looks like! Also dont suppose you know if it would fit a facelift zed? Thanks
  2. Cheers Ryan. It was a great car but sadly I had to let it go around a year ago as I was buying my first house with my fiancee. Needed something slightly more sensible for the Ikea runs & move in day. Take a look at my build thread here though if you want some inspiration or just to see what else I did to it: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/91628-gmballistics-zed-supercharged-2003-gun-metal-gt-coupe-vids-added/ More videos of it here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClRmiU_ciZ6yuBPT99e4Niw I most certainly will, thanks Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  3. Hahaha I think my hearing is actually still okay I think those are options I'm now gonna need to consider! Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk Definitely worth considering. Worth noting though that the downside with both those options though is that unlike the standard Cats you will fail the MOT emissions test for definite with De-Cats and it's touch & go that you will pass with the HFC's. My old Zed passed the MOT emissions test no problem with the Berks HFC's I had fitted but I know other members with an identical exhaust setup have failed in the past. You can get around this one of two ways ~ either you are friendly with the MOT guy or you put the OEM Cats back on for your MOT each year which some people do but I'd personally find that a PITA, .....or you're one of the lucky ones like me who had HFC's & still passed the MOT emissions test. Thanks for the info! Yeah definitely I did a bit of research on decats/HFC's previously. I know enough friendly MOT guys haha And great video! Have watched that before on YouTube but didn't realise it was you! Car looks and sounds like a monster! Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk

  5. You see this is why I was worried. Definitely quieter than when it was fitted, and lost the deep roar! Tempted to get it looked over just for piece of mind Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  6. This may be something I now consider! Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  7. Hahaha how much use before it softened? Mine has changed quite dramatically in just a week, and I don't do mega miles either Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks! That may be the answer now haha. I'll be in touch Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  9. Hahaha oh for god sake don't!! That was the other one I was considering Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  10. I did expect a sound change but it seems to have lost its tone, and as I said I was told to expect a deeper tone, not a miraculous change back to stock noise. Meh Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks for the reply. I was certain that the way it sounded when I first had it fitted was "right". Now it just doesn't Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  12. Aghhh! Very confusing. Everything that I'd read online and watched online about how its meant to sound seems consistent with how it sounded when it was first fitted! And haha also realised that I will become used to it- but others have noticed the difference too. The sound has changed in the complete opposite way that everyone said it should when it cokes up Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  13. Hi guys I could use a bit of advice if you don't mind. Recently bought a brand new invidia Gemini from tarmac and had it fitted by a trusted local garage. Sounded amazing, a deep roar especially at lower revs, then sounded great when I opened it up a bit more too. The past couple of days I have noticed that this amazing deep tone has faded away. The exhaust seems all round quieter, and much less throaty and deep. It may be starting to bed in but I was advised by really everyone that once it begins to bed in it will sound better and even get a little deeper, not the opposite? It now doesn't even sound- dare I say it- that much different to stock😭. And it certainly did when the thing went on. Thanks in advance for any light that can be shed on this
  14. Was actually quite impressed with the organisation when entering the site. Directions and stewarding was bang on- even I didn't get lost and my sense of direction is non-existent Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  15. Hahaha brilliant, and I see why some people might take offence I guess. Was just hard to appreciate at first as when I was younger there would have been no better sound haha. But I see your point for sure Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk The other issue is local residents. Hence why track is noise restricted. (Granted they shouldn't of moved next to a race track) but residents are ALWAYS complaining, thus bringing the DB limit for track down each time. And a 'rev off' is definitely going to challenge that location hosting the same event next year once you've pi**ed off the locals again. I can relate to that- a lady who moved next to my local tennis club kept complaning about the odd tennis ball over her fence. Not really logical but hey whatever keeps them happy. Keeping as many people happy as possible is good Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
