So let's face it, an in built sat nav is never going to be fully up to date.
I've managed to track down a 'back up' disc on eBay for a few quid for the 2011-2013 maps which will probably do me for a while.
Ideally I'd like to tap into the screen wiring so that I can use it as a second screen for my phone (then use waze!). I've seen one website that seemed to have a system but said it was for 09-10 Zeds. I've got an 08 so pretty sure it won't work. If anyone has any ideas I'd be massively grateful!

Good idea for a back up, there's about 6 different car parks there so if any are busy we can just move onto the next one.
-
If you've got another ill take it off your hands...!? PM me if so.

It is normally busy around the main restaurants eg TGI's Bella and the cinema but can't say I've ever looked over at KFC. Anyone?

Bump, still for sale.

I just paid a locap mechanic £360 for a full fluids change (clutch/brake, coolant, oil, gearbox & differential), new oil filter, new front discs and pads. Very good value if you can bare not going to a main Nissan dealer.
Car was only serviced 1500 miles ago (previous owner) so air filter looked fine but sparks needed doing next time. I would highly recommend going local mechanic or Indy garage.

Does anyone know if anyone is making or selling a sub enclosure like this in the UK:

I'm after something to fit behind the drivers seat and be unseen so really like the idea of this enclosure and then remounting the Bose sub cover

Cool pics, shame about the double post
Doh, was doing it on the iPhone and lost signal.....rookie mistake.

What time on the 27th? don't normally get back from London until 7ish.
-
I live in Leighton buzzard so MK is a quick drive down the dual carriage way for me and only having the zed for just over a month would be good to see some other zeds. Count me in for the 27th.

Matt
Just the lighting unit pops in and out so no worries. Make me an offer I am in Bristol
£12 including postage? im miles away from Bristol so wont be able to collect.

Hi Matt
Don't see why not I believe it's riveted in yes? I assume you want the whole plastic area?
Just this bit for me, not sure how its fixed in, it looks like it loose in your picture. Where abouts are you based and how much for just the lighting module? may be able to pick it up or ask you for a quote fro delivery?
-
Would you sell the roof light module separate from the headliner?
-
Having the same done to mine. Be interested to know the general cost. And no, fluids don't need a 'break in', the older they get, the less efficient they are.
£402 including all fluids, new oil filter and front discs and pads.
No spark plugs or air filter as they both looked to be in good condition.

Hi,
Wil this Bluetooth Module connet to a modern Android Bluetooth.
Thanks
Here is a list of phones that do connect to the Bluetooth module. The list was last updated at the end of 2014 so some newer phones may work but just not confirmed and added.
Also, take a look at this thread for a bit more info on HTC's.

I would love to know the answer to this. I've recently installed a aftermarket head unit, but I only get the fading volume using the rear usb cable from an iPod. Doesn't happen on cd, radio or front usb to iPhone. Weird as I didn't think the original Bose system had speed volume setting.
It's also not consistent, sometimes low revs some times high revs, some times low speed, some times high speed. Drives me nuts!

That's good to know. I've got a 1h 40min round trip tomorrow so only have to worry about bedding the brakes in and not the fluids. Will drop a line with the cost when I pick her up tonight.
-
So tomorrow I'm having my front discs and pads replaced due to being completely shot and at the same time I've asked for a full full fluid change as looking through the paperwork when I bought the car there was little evidence it had been done. Will give me piece of mind and maybe more placebo horsepower. Who doesn't want that, ey...?
I know brakes have a bedding in routine but the question is, do fluids also have a routine or anything I need to know?

As a brand new owner of a zed id love to come to a proper car meet full of enthusiasts. Any events coming up within an hour or so of MK this year? Would love to see what people have done with their zeds.
Where abouts do you live?

Leighton Buzzard, not far from Milton Keynes
I live in Leighton! (unfortunately ) How have I never seen you before lol
Have you got a black 04 plate zed? if you do, my mate followed you for a while before realising it was a different year
Nothing wrong with Leighton! Moved here 6 months ago to be close to the station. I've got a black 08 plate HR with a rusty exhaust.... So definitely not me! What zed do you have?
-
Unfortunately its phone only I believe, otherwise I spent 3 hours replacing the stereo for nothing!
-
Hi,
It connected to my iPhone 5C but unfortunately do not have and Android phone so cannot answer.
Thanks.

Eurocarparts doing very good deals currently on brembo kit
Are the OEM discs and pads Brembo as well? Or is it just the calliper?
Also, which pads, I think these as they match the shape of the calliper
But these also showed up when I put in my reg?
