  1. Just caught the bottom edge of my steering wheel with a sharp key on my keyring  (offending key is no longer privileged to be on car key bunch!). Each line is maybe 0.5mm raised so you can feel it and its exceptionally disheartening. Especially as its the first bit of damage i have caused to my zed since buying it. :bang:

Scratch is maybe 6-8 inches long and wondering what i can do to repair it. I've got some leather cleaner and some cotton cloths, so assuming this wont help. Any products or method suggestion would be appreciated.

edit: the bit at the bottom is worse, will add another photo when (if) it stops raining.

  2. Yeah they only flash once. Although I'm sure I read they are supposed to flash three times. I'll see if I can dig out my manual.

Found it! Page 2-22 in the owners manual.

Apparently there is a turn signal and a lane signal. It says "to indicate a lane change, move the lever up or down to the point where lights begin flashing"

Guess that can be read two ways, either it flashes a predetermined number then stops or it only works whilst your holding it half down. Either way, I've never got it to work!

  3. That's some serious effort put into getting a Zed looking pristine & wish I had the time and money to spend doing this to restore my dented, damaged black zed.

Seriously jealous... and enjoying the read!

Quick question for you, i saw the SGS engineering low entry jack on Amazon and was very tempted by it, is the quality what you'd expect? some of the reviews said it wasn't up to par but some said it was fantastic?!

In order to fit the exhaust ordered a jack and stands from sgs engineering, nice bit of kit and not too expensive

  4. Anyone know any info on this?

I've been looking around on other forums too and not come up with much. I have found a wiring diagram for the sat nav display and I'm reading up about what type of wires make up a VGA cable to see if the two 'could' match up. Seems like it might work just cutting the video feed and wiring in the video from a VGA cabe off of an iPhone to VGA converter.
