I do like this
I've spoken to the owner of this, as I wanted the G codes so I could CNC the top brackets.
Reason for the extension as the Megan wing sits a little on the low side. But the legs are perfectly spaced apart.
A'lass wouldn't give me the G codes, looks awesome, I love the CS rear. But too many people with it
but then why not just have larger legs ? you can buy stupid high legs that are solid one piece i wouldn't want to put a an extension on its just another part to fail more bolts and such

it kinda gets lost in with the black so it works but dont think it would on a colour other than black. as for the car that wing would cause some wobble at speed with the wing brackets attached to the wing brackets for height why not just get some larger 1 piece brackets?

just be patient and give it a wiggle mine was the same and then it came free also a spray of wd on it wouldn't harm

So I took my seats out for a good clean and putting them back in this morning in a bit of a rush I threaded a couple of bolts does anybody know size of them look about m10?? Also are they a certain bolt ie strength wise or can any bolt do? If they a particular bolt where can I get a set? Thanks

thanks but i was after a more specific answer to what to use.
anybody got a preference to which one to use/best results??

right i have some omp trs seats in my car a lovely red colour but its getting quite dirty/going black from clothing contact drivers seats is pretty bad now ( would upload pics but it doesnt really show)
any ideas hows to clean them up
im thinking maybe a carpet cleaner like a shake an vac or similar
or is a hand held steam cleaner worth a purchase?
had the seats for 6 months and they look 3 times the age

yea i tried jamming it with a pair of pliers ive misplaced my mole grips bet they would of worked. if i had an angle grinder i wouldnt even have bothered asking this it would of been straight off but only thing i got that will fit in little space is a little junior hack saw and its gonna take a good hour or so cutting with that ahaha

right guys just been changing my springs and i losened up the drop links to get a bit more movement to free the front spring,
as i was putting all back together the top bolt that bolts to the anti roll bar just starterd spinning as i tightened it up it appears that the other end is a ring on a spline and this has gone smooth rather than have little notches in it.
now im guessing this is now dead an need a new one (ordered already)
but my question is how do i get the old one out now is it a hack saw job on bolt as nut is nice and tight half way up?
also can i drive on it with the drop link removed or best to wait till new one turns up (maybe sat probably monday im told)

also isnt the idea of a front lip/flatfloor to pull the front into the ground lifting rear (and thus the spoiler wing) into the airflow more pushing the rear down . this also depends on the suspension set up as if springs are too hard and or no damper ud need so much downforce to move it ?
-
from what i can gather all wings, spoilers ( especially oem ones) will cause a little downforce unless they just a big flat airbrake ie bugatti, p1. .
spoilers are named as such that they spoil the airflow on the back egde of the car thus creating negative air pressure behind the car mean the weight of the car and air pressure over it push the car lower at the rear as less resistance.
big wings on the other hand put high enough (about same hight as roof maybe little lower) and they have a larger surface area result in the airflow over the roof taking an easier root over this surface than continuing down the boot as this air has less resistance ie no curve down the bootline it travels faster than the boot airflow and thus creates actual downforce on the rear of the car .
both result in drag
but benefit of drag vs downforce is decided as more rear grip mean power on the ground for a little more aero resistance
