  1. either this is wheel horse power as apposed to crank power or youve got issues goin on inside of engine or clutch/fly issues cars make about 245ish at wheels normaly so your looking at a 25is hp gain so id say its around the 325-330 mark against the 300 nissan cliam

  2. thanks yea ive just looked through the service manual and it seems a big job to do without the engine out. i guess ill just keep an eye on it and see if im losing much oil from it. just done the oil change and 3.5 litres came out plus a little spillage and the stuff in the oil filter i guess im not losing much in a year so hope im ok maybe a reason to have engine out for this and new long manifold :p

  3. hey guys need some help just doing an oil and filter change on my 03 de zed and having a look around for leaks and what not and seen this. i need help on 2 fronts. is this an immediate issue to fix?

and is it easy to do? looks like a silicone gasket so shouldn't be to expensive i hope?

it all looks dry oil wise more like carbon than oil tbh so its not leaking it just maybe a bit of blow out when under load?

  4. I'm gonna have a good play around with this at the weekend didn't think about a shark fin that could look smart.

As for the wrap yea you can just about see where the hole used to be but as the wrap straightens itself and pulls tight in heat it sorta just covers it up. I know it's just a quick fix I did at the time first time I out the aerial back in but had to redo it as I ripped it when doing something else so just thought I'd try with out it.

Thought about an internal didn't think it would get much reception tbh

  5. had a crazy idea today when looking at my car

when i wrapped my car i removed the fm antenna and wrapped over the hole and just detached the aerial all together

i also did a wiper delete =, im kinda missing the radio even though ive just done a tablet install

and then i thought could i rig it up and run it up out the top of the hatch?

    what you guys think?

  6. ouch for the damage to your bumper and your wallet. that gota of cost a bit

as for the damage it doesnt look to bad patch from behind fill and smooth over and itll be better than new :p

take it its a true jp kit then so fitment should be good from the off less modding than any reps out there ( if they exist)

  7. ow so your the c**k in the ford hahaha just kidding small world it is certainly. its all coming back off in the summer dont like the material i used its fading to a pink and going very brittle so going to go for a matt red rather than a carbon red effect and pay a little more for the vinyl still diy though :p

whats your misses name ill ask mine if they know each other

could have car dates then haha

  8. i had this on mine when i changed my steering wheel and i didnt put it back correctly on mine it was the steering wheel position sensor thinking the wheels were at an angle when going straight so it reads + or - instead of 0 when driving. its a nissan consult job to have it reset but its about 5 mins of work had mine done today for £30 at my local nissan dealers. but check fluid levels and all lights are working first as these can cause same issue ive read

  9. Changed my steering wheel back in Jan and had turned it slightly when installing so the skid and esp light came on once going 15mph done the first thing and put my old wheel back on to make sure the spiral cable hadn't broke by testing all buttons that all fine so research and found that it's easy for the computer to loose the 0 position so it was thinking the wheels were at an angle when straight driving. Been driving with it for last couple of months fine just have to go slow when starting off. Looked into an obd2 reader to reset it myself but it's a consult 2 jobbie so had to cough up for them to do it

  10. so just been to my local Nissan dealers in Coventry to have my steering angle senor resetted walk in told them the problem and he was like itll be 55 plus vat so about 70 quid. he then asked how long do i think itll need as he was going to look for a slot for me to get in. i was like its a 5 min job it a simple plug in reset and drive out job. so he went out back ask the tech if he could fit me in now as they have about 20mins before there first job. comes back says hell do it now for you £30.

cant moan at that now can you over half price and done there and then.

although it did take them an hour as my car had a problem talking to the consult machine and they was just about to give up and it started working so they were out of pocket in the end.

so not all dealers are robbing gits

thought they did want £40 for a new negative battery terminal which i promptly said ill just get one from halfrauds for a couple of quid
