Yeah the standard ones that come on the gen 2 nismo

  2. I have done about 500 miles in my 370z nismo and have noticed that there is staining on the red alcantara bit of the seat where my right let sits. It looks like colour transfer from jeans. Does anyone know how to clean this and also if there is anyway of protecting them or if a cover is the only option?

    Thanks in advance!

I would recommend to protect them gtechniq I1 smart fabric .It makes them water and stain resistand and lasts around a year or so . I did mine a few months ago . You literally soak the fabric only not the leather in the stuff leave it atleast a day to dry thats it . It doesnt effect the colour or feel of the fabric

  3. Hi guys ,

My 370z is throwing up the brake warning light (same as hand brake light) and the esp light sometimes when i put my foot down abit . They go back off when i restart the car and dont come on unless you give the accelerator a big squeeze.

Any ideas ? Ill get it booked in the garage tomorrow .

  4. Lots of places of interest along the route, best advice I can give is try not to just drive past them, stop and take in the views and take lots of photos, the Fairy pools on Isle of Skye is a must, as is Rannoch Moore and Glen Coe, there's an endless list of things to see and visit. Also the beaches on the north west coast are outstanding. Also if if your passing through Inverness, there's fort George military museum, that's a must if your interested in military history. Like I mentioned in my first post www.visit scotland.com is well worth looking at.

Thanks dude I'll check out the web can't wait never been to Scotland befor not sure why as your roads and scenery look out of this world ! Hopefully the first of many fingers crossed

  5. It all in the planning....... and depends if you are going to do the full route. A 20 ltr jerry (in each car) is a very good plan as is filling up at every petrol station you pass..... They can be few and far between on the far north and west of Scotland, but it's not the moon either. www.visit scotland.com is a good starting point, as is doing a Google search for petrol stations on each road / route your planning to take. Be mindful that a lot of these roads are single track and barely black stuff coated on parts. Oh and in April it regularly pisses down up here  so don't be setting off without good out door clothing. It can be up to 15 points colder up here compared to where your coming from. I would also get booking hotels soon, they are not plentiful on some of the places the NC500 takes in.

Thanks best get planning the petrol stations haha . Doing the full route pretty much with a few changes. Got hotels sorted . driving straight to ben nevis staying their for 2 nights in a small lodge as we are doing the hike up and down . From their to sky then to Torridon staying at the Torridon lol. Next day heading along the coast to John O'grotes stopping at a place called ackergill tower for the night then setting off down the east coast to Edingbrough for the night not sure of the name of the hotel. Then making our way back stopping the night in Hull at my parents place then back to surrey . Pretty epic drive for me but I'm hoping it will be worth it and the rain holds off haha ? Any recommendations on places to see things to do ?

  6. Hi all , me and my two brothers are doing the noth coast 500 in Scotland we are setting off on 23rd April to the 28th April. Just after a few pointers if any one on here has done it ?

All our cars are pretty juicy my 370z nismo , a GTR and a megan RS.I've done enough planning and we should be ok for fuel but if we take a wrong turn .... I'm thinking of taking along a 20ltd Jerry can for back up ? Another thing is I'm not sure weather the petrol stations in route do high octane fuel , this is my worry as I have never put anything other than shell vpower in her .Will it be safe running normal fuel? I'm not sure if it makes a difference or not but my car has been mapped on vpower after the bolt on mods ? I've heard you can buy octane booted in bottles would this be any use to us ? Any advice appreciated please

    THANKS 😊

  7. The Cup 2s are much, much better than the Cup 1s in the wet. A lot of the GT3/RS guys are happily running these year round, including Euro trips.

Hellishly expensive, but the ultimate if you can cope with the cost and the wear.

What sort of wear should you exspect is say my driving is fairly lively as I carnt resist the accelerater would they last to 9000 miles or alot less? my pockets dont go deep enough for anything that's going to be destroyed after a few thousand miles haha

  8. 16k on my Nismo Bridgestone S001 rears, new boots on the way this week. I know we like to b*tch about them but they are a hard wearing compound if nothing else...

Is 9000miles hard wearing for this car?haha I used to get 17000miles out of the mpss(fronts) I had on my vw scirocco. Any one running the cup 2 tires heard these are the bollocks for summer driving ?

  9. Has there been any adverse affect on the rev match capability of the car? I've heard a lightened flywheel could mess that up

None at all. If anything down shifts are smoother . I wasn't aware it could mess the rev match up ?

  10. Don't mix tyres: Either match the fronts, or swap all four. Personally I'd replace with 050A on the rear again, then swap once all are worn.

The 050As are excellent tyres, much better than the MPS3 IMHO which really weren't all that. Neither as good as MPSS though :)

Sorry I meant swap all four I'd never mix tires haha I loved the mps3 on my old car maybe it was just the fact it was front wheel drive , had a dsg gear box and only 200bhp is why it felt like it handled better than this car haha

  11. Yeah my MPSS are getting low now no idea how many miles they have done.

Is like petrol to me it goes in fun comes out lol

They are so much nicer than the Bridgestone tho they hang on for dear life

Is it worth just getting new rear Bridgestone then changing to mpss in the summer ? Or do they handle the winter months just as good ?

  12. So my car has hit 9000 miles and I think my rear tires will make it to 10000 then they have about has it ps I do spend alot of time sideways haha. They are just the Bridgestones stock from factory on the nismo v2. What sort of mileage is every one else getting ??I was hoping they was going to last me the winter but I carnt see it as I'd like to get a semi slick tire for the summer months .
