  2. nissan wouldnt touch it due to my mods....

What mods do you have installed that Nissan got funny about? 6k for a clutch is poor :(

stillen gen 3 , invidia exhaust system , berk decats, smoothed out intake manifold , braided hoses ,2 piece discs , extreme clutch kit ,lightweight single mass fly wheel and ecutek software

  3. Just my personal exsperiance (probably bad luck) my car is a 2015 nismo now with 23,000miles on. After 6000miles 6months the csc seals went leaked fluid over my clutch and had to get all that replaced. Nissan warrenty wouldnt touch the clutch as its not coverd and blamed it on my mods and tune up . the boot springs stopped working after a week or so although they did replace them . the drl in the bumper filled up with water after the cars was only a few months old they replaced that on warranty. The rear interior constantly squeeks and rubs when driving. Oh and my manual gear box broke last week nissan wouldnt touch it due to my mods.... On the plus side its great fun to drive . the sound system doesnt skip and no rust so far haha.

If i had my time and money back i wouldnt buy one again they just dont feel like a quality car .

  4. It has to be a nissan performance centre dealer is what nissan told me and their isnt many around ! Im not saying all of them are bad but ive had a few bad experiences with nissan so i just take the car to horsham developments for everything now for a peace of mind

My local Nissan performance dealer is awful. Even the parking area is so tight it is almost impossible to get in and out of a car so less careful clients are likely to ding doors. A member on here had his bumper damaged in the parking area...a real battle to get them to repair it.

Mine also goes to Horsham even with a 3 hour drive. At least our traders care!

Yep nice bunch of guys down their well worth the trip !

  5. This is a common problem with multiple dealers and it's suggested that anyone with a 370z goes and checks to be sure

Unfortunately a well documented common issue as WinkJ has stated.

However these transportation blocks if not removed at PDI will effect the handling and I am very surprised that the alarm bells were not ringing regarding the poor handling that you must have been experiencing during your 2 years of ownership.

Now that it is sorted, go and have some fun in your "new" car.

Im only 24 and ive never owned a car like this before I had a diesel vw scirocco with 144bhp before so this car has been a huge differnce and shes did seem to oversteer alot round cadwell park a few months ago . Doesnt get driven on the roads hard enough to notice understeer though haha

  6. I can understand why you wouldn't want any future communication with Aldershot but I'd drop them a polite email with pics of the bungs just to inform them of this error that has gone unnoticed on supply and subsequent services of the car so that systems can be put in place to safeguard other customers.

I know they probably won't give a monkeys but it would be interested to see how they respond to your polite heads up.

Then forward their poor or lack of response to Nissan head office as really there are safety issues that could be going undetected all over the show if they really are that bad.

Good point I'll get a nice email across . Could save others the pain in the arse ive had haha

  7. I would be seriously pi**ed off if that was me !

Have you confronted the dealership about it ?

Ive had so many problems with them you wouldnt believe im at the point now where I pay horsham developments to service my car even though it still should be free.

I love the car and have just decided that I am never stepping a foot in their again as id rather pay the money and have a plesant experience than have a constant battle with this dealership . The only thing I feel I can do is warn people about them.

  8. So my car is nearly 2 years old now . Whats a surprise that my car hasnt been handling correctly for this full time !

It was in at horsham developments to get some 2 piece discs and braided lines fitted the otherday . To their surprise they found two large rubber blocks in the front springs 😮 these are designed to stop the car bouncing during transportation when new and are supposed to be removed before the car goes near the road. Yet again the nissan dealer in Aldershot have been an absoulte crap exscuse of a garage and I would avoid going their at all costs.

  9. It has to be a nissan performance centre dealer is what nissan told me and their isnt many around ! Im not saying all of them are bad but ive had a few bad experiences with nissan so i just take the car to horsham developments for everything now for a peace of mind

  10. Good man...

Much agreed on Nissan dealerships, majority are Arseholes...

And i used to work for one.....lol..

😂😂😂 carnt speak for all of them but the one I bought my car from are.

  11. Bet warranty is defunct after fitting a single mass flywheel

I dont get along with my nissan dealer after 6000miles my csc leaked all over my clutch and caused it to slip they refused to replace it as they dont cover clutches so i kicked up a big fuss .The car has got a fair amout of bolt on mods and tuning so i think they will use anything to get out of warranty.

Not even thinking about going their as i want it done fast and hassel free its my daily so im on the motorbike for now ! Its going kaiser motors on monday so hopefully have her back in a couple of weeks 😳

  12. Fully working low mileage pre owned gearboxes are in stock and sold with 6 months warranty.

What year and model is your car ?

Just drop me a pm if I can help you further.

    Alex. :)

Thanks dude I might be in touch after i find out what casued it and what needs fixing ....

  13. Gutted to hear this

Dont think this is that uncommon on 370z's although yours is pretty new cars that have had CSC issues do seem to be much more likely to see gearbox failures down the line, I have seen and heard of a few now :(

Not sure you can do anything moving forwards :(

Hi Rich did you not get your gearbox upgraded?

  14. I know its only done 23,000miles roughly 15plate nismo not sure if the upgraded clutch and lightweight single mass fly wheel has had anything to do with it wearing quicker. Its getting stripped down back end of next week so should have more of and idea what has caused it . I just dont want to fork out for a gearbox for it to happen again so would rather spend the extra cash and get a uprated one if possible ?

  15. I read on the american forum that it happens if you dont disconnect the battery during the install which i never .so dont worry the ecu just needed resetting. Will have a look in to getting one of them wifi dongles though sounds handy to have thanksðŸ‘
