  2. Hey guys!

    Thought I'd try and put a bit of life back into the group buy section, and mainly because I've missed every single one and got a little jealous.. ANYWAY.

    Spoke to the guy who sells these, after buying my own and being over the moon, they pretty much do what they say on the tin, protect your rims, whilst (for some) providing a little colour to your wheels, here is what they look like on mine ;

    Mine are the silver ones and pretty much un-noticeable.

    Plenty of pictures and information to go by, even a noob like me can put them on.

    Prices ; normally £15

    Managed to agree on...

    10 buy its £13

    15 buy its £12

    20 buy its £11... You get the picture.

    The price is for a full set of up to 20".. Which is fine for us. Unless some of you scary people are actually running 20's...

    Colours available : black, silver, red, lime green, yellow, orange, white, pink, blue, purple.

    The set also includes a brush tip bottle of 3M "94 Primer (adhesion accelerator)" and alcohol wipes

    !!!! CLOSED!!!!

    Any more info, just pm me :)

  3. Well the people who are wrapping my car APM customs are going to be fitting everything as they wrap it. So it makes my life easier and theirs, AND my wallet ! But thanks for every bodies help.

    So do I need to buy parts or will the body shop supply them? 🙄

  4. Hey guys,

    Got a number of parts that will be getting fitted soon, and I have completely forgot that most of the parts didn't come with anything to fit them, do I need to get anything to fit them or will they use the old bits that come off ?

    I've got ;

    1 x front lip (RT)

    1 x charge speed rear (RT)

    1 x nismo spoiler (RT)

    1 x pair of side diffusers (Tarmac, but I am pretty sure I glanced over it and these are just screws, so no problem)

    Never had anything fitted to any car before so be nice ðŸ˜

  5. I also had a nightmare trying to get parts from RT, EVENTUALLY got them in the end, but I think if it wasn't for the constant nagging/reminders, I wouldn't have had them, after spending close to the £800 mark too! And having to cancel and re-organise a day to fit the parts ....

  6. Thanks for the feedback guys, so maybe it's changed quite a bit since my cousin went, probably depends on who you know then? But even if it is so bad, is it really as bad as working in the uk? You'd really have to step back and think surely, fruit picking in Australia, or In My case, being in a factory for 12 hours a day

  7. Thankyou guys! :D I'm only 22 so hopefully I'll have youth on my side. My cousin went for 3 years just working the BBQ 4 nights a week which paid for his hostel and a bit left over so I was just seeing if anybody else had the same experience. I've NEVER had anybody come back from Australia and say they will never go back, but I suppose everybody is different, I did Asia for 3 weeks last year, but was no where near enough. Really opened up my eyes to how short life is, I'm doing this BEFORE I get a house, as I felt as soon as you'd get the house, you'd be wanting to spend money on that, rather than travelling, and never get round to doing it again. I rented a house (with my hellhound of an ex) for 8 months so I know how expensive running a house is.

    I agree ! Spatt's (the regional organiser for this side of he water) car is off the road at the moment so I doubt anything will be getting organised so, I'm up for it :)

  9. Hey guys and gals, me and my girlfriend are doing South Asia next year, along with Vietnam etc, and then heading over to Australia, quitting the jobs, the lot. And want to work in Australia to extend our travelling time and experience before coming back to the boring 9-5 (or in my case 6pm-6am), save up for a house bla bla bla.

    Would love to speak to anybody who has done this first hand ? :)

    Thanks

    Olly
