Hey guys,

Haven't been on here for a LONG time.

Had a problem with the slave cylinder, which was caused by the pivot bolt snapping which has caused some right mischief.

We got the housing out tonight after taking off the exhaust prop shaft etc. And managed to get he remainder of the stud out which I'm very happy with.

And whilst we had it off, We had a look at the clutch and it was close to going so looking at a replacement which will be an 'exedy' one which luckily they have one in stock in my home town as well as a slave cylinder and the pivot ball I have ordered previously from clarks motorsport.

Is there anything else whilst I've got it down, apart from the obvious fluid levels and looking at all the pipes etc. As I don't want to go through this again any time soon!

just watched another marvel film, and EVERY time I watch the intro (where it flicks through a load of pages) I see a car.. and not just any car, I recognised it. So I went through the effort of playing and pausing trying to get it on the page with the car.. and this is what I've found, I can't be the only one who thinks it's familiar ?

If your aunty drives it regularly, then you shouldn't need to do anything apart from a good service before leaving it with her.

If it's to stay there stationary, then I would suggest axle stands and a CTEK trickle charger along with a full tank of petrol.

I think I am just going to ask her to drive it once/twice a week, even if it's just to the shop and back ?

Hey guys what's up.

After a good hard think, I've decided not to sell the zed when I go travelling in 6 months. It's been a hard decision to make, but I figured if it doesn't work out, I've still got the car to come back to if I'm only gone a year, and if I do stay out longer or need the funds, I could ask a family member to sell it for me (with help of a fellow zedder I know).

So this brings me to my question, please bare with me, the zed is the first car I've had of this standard so no big words please... 😅

What would the car require (apart from the obvious oil change, breaks and general maintenance) if it was kept of the road for about a year ? I will do all the major yearly works just before I go, but I will leaving it my aunty who is, although a huge car fan and will have no problem spending money when needed, but I'm just keeping it their and don't expect her to throw money at it. I imagine this would be similar to when people out theirs away for winter, but mine shall be put away in the summer also (which I doubt many of you do).

Sorry for the massive post, just trying to actually be organised for once...

Hi olly will the bumper fit an 07 if so I definitely want it I'm new to this so I have no idea how to proceed I would also by the splash guards I currently have three z s one of which I'm bringing back to mint hence needing the bumper and the splash guards thanks Amgz

Time to sell on some more parts that are lying around

1. Front bumper WITHOUT headlight washers, I couldn't find one of these anywhere when I was looking for a replacement, so pretty rare as far as I'm aware. It's got a slight crack on the front bumper, and missing one of the hanging brackets (I pinched for my new bumper as it only came with one) and missing the eye-bolt cover in the grill (same scenario as the bracket) would be happy with £80 for it. Pickup only from Wrexham, north Wales ;

2. Front mudguards, just need a clean and little bit of wear (as you can imagine) in gunmetal grey (perfect colour match) - £30 + £5 postage (can wash and send more pictures if needed, was just in a rush to beat the rain)

Ring around the gear stick, little dent but still clips on - £5 + £2 postage

4. Super black '350' part of the emblem, I'm keeping the 'z' (sorry to be awkward) - £10 including postage
