  1. Ok... so I was driving down a twisty A-road today when I cleaned my window activating the headlight washers to watch part of my offside jet roll up and over my bonnet, needless to say before I got back it was well and truly destroyed and very much run over.

My bumper has a hairline crack in it anyway and needed some TLC to the mouldings underneath to re-fit the under-tray (which ironically I was on my way over to my parent garage to potentially fix along with another couple of minor things) so either a new jet mechanism or a replacement OEM pre-facelift bumper (with jets!) in Gunmetal.

    Edit: Sorted.

  2. 58 in a 40 overtaking on a 40 limit dual carriageway.

Gutted as I has waited about 6 miles for the road to break into two, I should have done him miles back on the single when I had half a chance.

I don't think there was an option for a course back then but i think Hampshire had a 10% + 2mph policy on the course option again that was sometime back I heard that...

  3. Bloody hell, when I started reading this thread I didn't realise what I was getting myself in for.

Any who glad you're alright, shame about the car, everyone makes mistakes but it helps if we can limit those mistakes to places without lamp posts or other roadside furniture

Edit: or people can't forgot the people.

Good luck sorting out a new Zed!

  4.

Trust me, I don't want to get rid of it but needs must :( the only reason I'm selling it is it's time to grow up and buy a place.

    Boo to growing up!!

Lovely car mate, bummer you have to get rid to get a place, good luck with the sale... I kinda did mine the other way around - got the house/flat first then had no money to buy the Zed

  5. Hi,

Trying to get to the bottom of my P0300 code/random misfire.

was wondering if there was anyone in the Chichester/Emsworth/Portsmouth area who's MAF I can borrow for a test drive they're welcome to join me for the ride of course so they're sure I don't just drive off with it, probably only need for 15/20 mins.

Also I'm running out of idea's as "hobby mechanic" so if anyone knows a local expert with parts etc.. let me know as I might be wanting of of those soon, I'd take it to H-Dev but I don't want to drive the 65 miles with a intermittent misfire which is probably killing my Cat's (tends to give a flashing EML).

I was pretty bad but has improved since I got my injectors reconditioned but I also cleaned my MAF again so unsure which has made the improvement.

    - Thanks.
