Great car, I know Ryan and he's always kept it in stunning condition. Will be sad to see it go mate.
-
Yeah I ll send a few PMs around and see what I can get.
-
Oh right that's good then. Are resonated test pipes basically decats that are made to look like cats with some sound cancellation ? Or are they another word for HFC ?
-
I was looking at Fast Intentions Resonated Test Pipes but can't find any in the UK through google so might have to give a few of the traders a call and see if they can supply these with the exhaust. Cobra HFC better than Berks or are they pretty much the same?
-
After further looking I think I have narrowed it down to Fast Intentions 18" resonated with FI HFCs or Berks HFCs (if they are any different?). I listened to the HKS and MeisterSchaft systems but they were too raspy/chavy sounding for me. This one looks good so will go for the same setup I guess.

I was looking at the "Project 370Z" on youtube, and it runs 245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear. That should be fine with my setup I think seeing as that is lower than 25mm with the KWV3s it has on. I guess that is why it is running lower profile though.
-
I know the default size 235/40/19 and 275/35/19 doesn't rub with spacers and lowering springs, so I wouldn't think the slightly higher meat of rubber should cause any issues. Maybe get 20mm spacers instead or something?
-
245/40/19 F and 285/35/19 R along with Eibach Pro Kit lowering springs and 25mm spacers all around shouldn't rub should it ? Just wan't to confirm before I order.

Oh damn... Well My original option was Akrapovic Evo full system or a HKS Hi-Power exhaust (both would be including berks HFCs) but I am struggling to find a good video of the HKS one that I like (I love it's design though), and the akrapovic is awesome but a little too tame I thought (although build quality is insane, and so is fitment). I ll have to keep looking but ideally would like to see some of these in person and really hear what they are like under load.

£738 for 245/40/19 F and 285/35/19 R holy f*** that's a steal! I shouldn't have rubbing issues with these along side with the Eibach pro kit and 25mm spacers all around should I ? As I believe this is nismo tyre fitment.
-
Did this happen on a 370z mate or a different car ? And jesus that is quite bad tbh considering the exhaust is over £2k
-
Excuse my spelling, and damn that's going to be close to £600 for the rears alone Will be driving very carefully haha edit: just saw openeo will have a look, cheers mate

So I am getting a set of tires next month, and after some research on the370.com forum it's come down to 2 contenders. 1. Michelin Pilot Super Sports 2. Bridgestone RE11s The first, is on the expensive side of things, however easily sorced. The second, I can't seem to find anywhere for sale in the UK? The tire size I am looking for is 245/40/19 for the Front and 285/35/19 on the back on the stock RAYS wheels that come with the GT Pack. Should fit nicely. Can anyone help with prices/sources for finding these tyres or do people run better alternatives ? Thanks!

Has anyone here got the ARMYTRIX Super Sport Valvetronic Exhaust system? Seen quite a few videos of it, and yes while a little on the pricey end (akrapovic money) it does come with high flow cats/decats if I am correct, which alone can cost you up to £500 (berks). Now seeing quite a few videos, it seems like an incredible invstment, as it can have a quiet and loud mode or even in between with "auto". Any opinion or experiences with this would be great. I am really have a hard time choosing an exhaust, I feel that the cheaper alternatives such as FI or ARK or Borla are just not good enough, could be wrong though videos are extremely misleading... If anyone is around in Surrey (GU16 area) I'd love to come and have a listen at what system you have. Thanks!

Good work man, I did mine last summer, very pleased with it. Not looked back since (bu bum tish- - !!!!!!! ) Hahaha I see what you did there

Are your dipped lights standard ? or have you changed the bulbs to 6k or higher? If so how is the colour matching? Thanks bud

Hello guys just a small and easy question for those who have already done it. What LED lights did you guys use for the exterior? My 370 already came with some sort of 6k ish LED numberplate lights, which I don't mind to be honest, but I have now ordered some 6000k DS2 headlight bulbs and wanted LEDs inside and outside to match. What are the best 501/T10/W5W LEDs for the sidelights, and full interior that you guys are running, any links/product names ect... will be appreciated. Thank you!

Widebody Moonbeam 370z GT with 2015 Nismo Front End (p17)
iiNNeX replied to oldbonesmcgee's topic in Member Build Projects
I also want to go the 2015 nismo bumper router for my 370 when I get it this week, I am dying to see the results! haha Awesome thread by the way, loving the Zed! 25mm spacers and 25mm drop all around is a good choice. -
Just had a read through this, bloody amazing mate. I am picking up a zed this upcoming week in the same colour, and so far love all of your mods, and especially the exhaust system. Just a quick question, if I was to go for the 25mm Spacers and the same spring kit you have, then where can I get a spacer for the fronts so I can get them even? (not a fan of nose dipped cars that much). Alternatively would 30mm TEIN S springs be too much of a drop with those spacers and cause rubbing? Thanks and hope to see your car sometime - iiNNeX

Welcome to the forum mate

Thanks dude, and yeah I tried with polishing first but the paint is already so thin and has been polished over so many times that black started to come out on top instead so I thought well it looks like its time for a respray haha. I got it reasonably cheap however as I did all of the prep work myself, and just got a friend to spray it and paid him for the hours it had to sit in the spray booth to dry.

Just wanted to pop by and introduce myself. Name is Stoycho (call me Sid for short if you like), I am 21 and currently live in Frimley (near Farnborough for those who don't know). In terms of ownership well I am awaiting some details and shall be picking up my first zed, which is a 2010 370z with GT Pack in "twilight silver" ? I couldn't find that colour in the official nissan colour book but it's some sort of grey. The car itself is on 25k ish miles and it is being sold at a good price. In terms of modifications, well I have never kept any of my cars standard (even though I haven't really had that many), but the problem is my previous cars were all old, so restoration was part of the "modifications". Now I can hopefully enjoy putting my money into the car as mods instead of fixing rust and what not In terms of car history, I have only been driving since 19, my first car was 2001 VW Golf mk4 1.6i 16v, which was totally standard, apart from little bits like LED interior light upgrade, brighter whiter bulbs and just smoothing a few things. I wanted to keep it OEM and clean, so I can sell it for good money after I can insure my first fast car, which I did. The car after that was a 1999 Honda Integra Type R DC2 (UK Spec) in Milano Red (or shall I say basically faded pink lol). That car went through a full respray and rust removal, including brand new rear arches and bits around the boot/engine. In terms of performance it was kept totally standard and OEM spec, apart from the obvious better flowing K&N filter and things like NGK iridium plugs + NGK HT Leads etc... Here is a pic just before I sold her: I since then thought, well I want a cheaper, RWD driven car for a bit of fun and the obvious choice was MX5. So I managed to find a reasonably clean 1992 MK1 Eunos Roadster (Import version of MX5). That already came on coilovers, with a cat back (mx5parts one I think) and XXR 527s on slightly stretched Toyo T1Rs. Was a really nice car to be honest, I still have it and it will be up for sale as soon as I get the Zed home. Not the best angle or picture but I don't have that many of them. So that's basically my car history, I am looking forward to the 370 and I know it will be very different from anything I have driven, as both the DC2 and MX5 are very raw and engaging to drive. Especially steering wise, you can feel everything through the wheel. In terms of modifications I have some plans for the Zed but I will make that in a different thread, this is already probably too much for some people to read haha. Are there any 370 owners on here around the Surrey area? Thanks!
