I have one of these installed permanently in all my cars. Does all the generic stuff and some extras with torque in Android but won't do the dealer specific stuff. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00DY3EZSI/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?qid=1451675341&sr=8-3π=SY200_QL40&keywords=elm+327+bluetooth&dpPl=1&dpID=41V%2BCAIwSDL&ref=plSrch

Yeah it crossed my mind but It's someone's mother, who's possibly made a mistake and is just too dumb to realise. Other than crunching me she didn't seem to be unstable or wandering, if she had seemed it I would certainly have said so to the police.

Thanks folks, was a bit of a downer but I'll take a trip to Infinity Glasgow to get a quote to make her shiny again. Police were very helpful and positive about it, said they will get right on to it and pay her a visit and get back to me.

I've just seen innocent folk screwed by insurance and dodgy claims before, wanted to assess risk vs risk!
-
-
Yeah think I have to report it anyway, if I don't and she does it will look dodgy against me when I had nothing to do with it! Ughh, off to the police station.

Driving along in the left lane of a dual carriageway. Left hand bend. Someone cuts the corner and swipes along the length of my lovely car with their econobox I'm left with deep scratches to my drivers side front and rear arches, drivers door and mirror Watched her do it, like while trying not to mount the kerb I looked clean at her face and she didn't even look left at me. Baffling. Got the reg number but I'm loathed to report it because you can guarantee it'll go 50:50 and I'll swallow the excess anyway

Compensated how? Tempted to just whip off the rear box to try it.

Does anyone living near Glasgow have short tails (only, all else as normal) fitted? I'm curious as to how loud loud is. I'm used to a turbocharged I4 with a 3" more or less straight through but want to keep the Z a little more on the classy side.

Got my car with 8K already on the rears, have done 8K myself and not slowly, still 4mm to go. Front have gone from 5mm to dead in 8K. Clicky shafts here but I don't care, might fix if I can be bothered. My clutch went nuts the other day at 80K miles but everything else is fine. Interior shows no wear, exterior had some stone chips up front but nothing worrying. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk

Hmm will look at it asap, bit of a pain but 80K old isn't too unreasonable. Hoping it's not due to failing dmf but the slight judder I've had at low revs, low engagement suggests other possible issues. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk

Yeah think about that a second, how many times a day do you rest at the biting point ready to dart for a few seconds Next commute you'll surprise yourself. We are talking no load for a few seconds, I'm used to driving a 4wd 350HP manual car

Well today I had the fabled clutch weirdness. Lights went green, had to hover at the biting point for 7-8 seconds to wait for a moron dawdling and trying to decide whether to turn across me or not. Eventually I got annoyed and hoofed it around him but as I fed the clutch up it just immediately went into total slip. Clutch hit the floor and stayed there for a second, as I backed off the throttle the clutch came back to life and popped back up. It's now notably lighter (used to have a definite change in spring rate exactly at the biting point, now it's linear). Going to flush through with new fluid and keep an eye out for leaks but it worked fine all the way home. Bugger. Can't trust it now!

20Mm front and rear. Adding to rear only would cause greater understeer , relatively speaking, and would play with your traction control. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk

So having pulled them off again today I'm going to drop them onto the for sale section. No more tramlining over ridges and bumps, much less scrub when turning right radii, slightly more body roll, much more precise especially under braking but by far the most noticeable effect is they were definitely causing the traction control too kick in earlier. I felt it when I first put them on but put it down to my driving style changing, but it would "bog" slightly on any sort of sharpish bend when getting on the gas despite not breaking away. Now it seems to let it break away slightly earlier and allow a little more sideways before it throttles back for you and a lot more before it slaps you in the face by grabbing brakes for you. Slightly concerned about wet weather response because I felt like the spacers made that more comfortable lol Spacers are definitely the devil's spawn.

Difference even for mildly quick road driving is vast. Really slows the cars responses as I've mentioned before in other threads. I'm actually about to take mine back off again to see what I'm missing again having had them on for 12 months. I'll miss the gorgeous filled arch look but I can only blame Nissan for the madness. I've been stopped at petrol stations, come back from the chippy to find 4 guys looking around it (mildly intimidating), had 3 people yell "nice car" from passing cars. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk

Just a side note... My Celica GT4 becomes twitchy over 90 without its rear spoiler (super noticeable!) And having finally put an undertray on my 370 (which never had one) it's made a pretty noticeable difference 80+ - front end is much more solid feeling. Aero on road cars is not all looks. Hmm didn't unplug battery but definitely disconnected electrically and moved the throttle blades. Interesting. Didn't expect it to have to relearn the zero point of the tps!

Mine arrived the day after shipping, looks great - will fit at the weekend! Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk

Bit of weird one, wondering if anyone else had it... Changed plugs today (80k miles), noted one was a little loose and one intake hose had a jubilee clip loose. Anyway, popped it all back, checked all hoses, cleaned throttle bodies with carb cleaner and a rag (some crankcase oil vapor deposits, not much) and fired it up. All seemed well initially but noticed it was really obvious when off throttle there was a kick and tipping into the throttle really bucked the engine. Drive round a bit and return home to inspect. No obvious hose or connection leaks. Idling at 975rm, 1200 with AC on. Turn it off and make a cuppa, head out and fire it up again - back to normal. Is this normal?! Any idea of cause? No fault codes logged, no other symptoms.

Well I need one as the factory one was lost before I bought it. Assuming good coverage to stop my engine getting sprayed and soaked from below, I'll take one anyway! Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
