Apologies I couldn't make it today. But I'm sure you've all had a fabulous day and got to catch some rare sights into the magic tuning works of SVM.
Best wishes!

OMG, this site already blows my mind! More aftermarket parts than the Z counts OEM parts! It's gonna be so epic
Title it: TORQEN -- The definitive 1-stop Zed shop in UK!

We have just had a porker and Ferrari club confirm
A fat person and a Ferrari .. ? Sounds like the start of joke.
I know it's not, so what else does "porker" stand for?
Cheers
EDIT: Nvm, I found out already.. it's the Porsche per se

hehe, too bad we couldn't record videos. But Lucie took a few nice pics

Yes, when I swapped my crank pulley I saw the stock one had a rubberized component in it. I agree, the stock clutch/fly does a lot of damping, too. I would not worry at all about a lightweight crank pulley.
A slightly different matter will be when I need to upgrade my clutch/fly for the TT with said Competition Clutch kit. I will still have spring loaded clutch disk but no more dual mass flywheel. Damping will be compromise to some degree.
Given hat I never read about harmonics induced crankshaft failures I take the risk.

... One of my mates has a 300hp Fabia diesel, it's absolutely nuts and it smokes like the ones you see on youtube! Hope he can come along but i wouldn't want to be behind him
Matt
LOL, me neither
I'd like to come along, too, weather permitting. Telford is just 1h 48 min away.
Thx James for the invite Hope John comes too given his current exhaust issue

Thank goodness for that. I can buy the Motordyne shockwave 2 now
Possibly the best sound to match your power output
The shockwave))) is also said to be compatible with both, NA and SC.
Just wondering if it would be toooo loud with decats though René?
Fair point. It might make high-speed motorway driving very noisy. The Motordyne Shockwave is "quiet" at 2-3krpm cruise, but has a resonance at 4krpm (loud racy rasp - perfect for scaring by-standers ) and quietens down again above 5krpm to redline. You've heard the loundess of mine with Berk 200cells. Empty downpipes ought to be a tad louder still. But I'm not sure how Motordyne ART downpipes would sound with the shockwave since you'd introduce a second pair of Helmholtz resonators. They ought to be quieter than straight-through downpipes.

Just done with 3 hrs car wash, after this 600 mile trip (which is more than my avg. annual mileage) it looked like a fly swatter
One minor stone chip on te bumper that I try to touch up later today. But the blast that John and I had on our home back was well worth it

I love that Fujimura front bumper. It's my favorite of them all out there
I only went for Amuse on my own Z because Fujimura was out of my budget.
The custom mirrors look ace

Hehe, more than 100% charged .. supercharged! She almost begs for a weekend blast

It may not convey very well in the image because of the flash light but IMHO the silver alcantara nicely goes with the aluminium trims in the Z's interior. Black alcantara would've been nice too, no doubt, but I wanted it to stand out of all the other black trims, given the exclusivity of this material
-
I went with your recommendation and Jack@RoyalSteeringWheels has done a great job at re-trimming my steering wheel. I've just received it in the post today
I went for
Reprofiled + flat bottom
Silver grey alcantara 4978 sides
Perforated leather top&bottom
Red centre band
White stitching
I love the looks and feel!
This is how it look installed, back-to-back.

That's a good price. Mine were more like £100. Would be cool to have the Morimoto switchback orbs to have DRL and amber turn indicator in one halo
-
I noticed your orbs/angel eyes are quite a bit brighter than my ONEighty orbs. Whereas mine are made of seventy or so 1210 SMD LEDs, your orbs appear one solid ring.Yours also got a nice blue hue to it whereas mine are 5000K white. If I did it all over again I'd probably pick your Morimotos. Have you got a link for them?
-
wow, how did the torque curve become so flat with the SC? I had imagined low end torque to be lower, linearly building up. Awesome tune!
-
LOL.. ok scrap that double dare.
I can only imagine how much fun you must be having now. Very happy for you

René, yours will be over 550bhp, easily
I was thinking, since my Greddy Profec has low and high boost settings, we set my low to 420whp=500bhp for daily use with longevity in mind, and high at 500whp=600bhp for the occasional dare. What do you think?
There'd still be scramble mode for double dare... 550whp?

Would it be possible not to meet so early? With some ppl's travel distances this mean rising on a Sunday at 5am. The Halloween night just before was an unusual circumstance that made me go to bed quite late
I'd love to make it for the next meet and look fwd to it already Cant wait for misty months of Z-hibernation to end.
