Was parked up at traffic lights and was pulling off to turn right and the guy on my left was moving to go straight on was in a mitsi pickup truck towing a big wide metal trailer. As he moved off his trailer hit my passenger side door, he did not stop so i went after him and got his plates. Then called the police. Unfortunately i had no witnesses or anything but i have reported this now to the insurance esure. The problem is my excess is £500 and in order to fight for that money back from the other driver i have to pay the excess first and then there is a risk of not winning. Auto restore came to give me the quote, as that is who esure use, they are a mobile repairer and they said £1300. esure will not let me use any other service unless i pay £200 to change the repairer. Fuming not sure what to do here. I am gonna get some quotes from a few other garages myself, and see how much they quote if its cheap enough i might aswell have to sort it myself. Or else pay the 500 excess and get auto restore to do it, but then risk not getting the money back. Door suffered the most but there is some damage to the arch too. a few minor scratches to the rear panel too.

Yeah guess you are right lads... well I'm in Mansfield. I think i will try tesco next time, i have been using shell v power until now just looking to see if i can get cheaper and same quality elsewhere.

In your opinion what looks better design wise? 350z or the 370z... I'll be honest i never really liked the 370z design and preferred the 350z but 370 is kinda growing on me now. I've just made a poll... if anyone fancies to take part!

Moped mark that is insane! looks pristine IMO well more than. wow. Hmmm wondering if i should ever go back to that guy who did the service. He did okay last time though, he serviced my car previously. am I being petty? arghh i just hate it when people working on your car kind of neglect to treat it with care, he also left the inside of my car all muddy... ffs.

So looks like there are a few that do around the 1k mark... I myself have done 1k a month since i have owned mine. It's my daily driver... and it's one expensive beast to run. I keep meaning to sell because of the petrol guzzle but it's so hard to let go of... it just make's me smile every time i drive the beast. The roar of the engine the lovely power i just cant get enough of it. I think i am actually addicted to driving it. Somedays I will go out for a 20 minute drive but will end up coming home about an hour and a half later. TRUE.

ballistic, just noticed you have a supercharged zed... how much was it to get charged and what hp is that running?

Just curious as to how many miles some of you guy's cover in your zed? anyone doing close to or 1k miles a month?

Took my car for a service today, got it back and found a nice patch of oil on the plenum..am i being anal too be annoyed? Messy barstewards. Oil around the filler cap too, had to give it a little clean anyway... but it got me thinking, perhaps the engine bay could do with a good clean throughout. Any suggestions on how to do this, steam clean? any good professionals that can clean it up? Oh and after wiping the tissue from the plenum there is still a slightish patch... dammit. Will this come off???

Count yourself lucky, mine needs a new one asap... seems too be slipping quite a bit and i'm on 70k... i have never had to change one.... which are the best ones to go for generally? seems for of those exedy clutchs on ebay for sale.

I see are the HR engines generally better my zed is an 04? Also, is it a known issue for the roof to rust considerably?

I dunno guy's i just get a bit worried when mileage racks up, i mean i have seen people on this forum talking about rings going and rebuilds etc that cost 5k? am i being a bit paranoid then?

I've been to this place, i used to live in Stamford nearby to there. I checked out a few of the zeds they had but they always seems a bit over priced.

Okay do i do the same and dip in a few times to get average or ? The first time i pull it out seems to be coated and other time after seems sparse, i recall it doing that before when i checked it last time tbh i think
