  12. Hello starting a build thread to keep all my cars history in one place. So in May 2014 I turned 21 and decided to treat my self to a Z. I was met with many people saying your mad due to my unlucky situation with previous cars. My car history is as follows: MG ZR (Crashed) MG ZR (Someone Crashed into me) MG TF ( Crashed at 80mph lucky to be alive) MG ZR (SURVIVED) As soon as I had turned 21 I was scouring autotrader and ebay all day waiting for the right one to come up. I found one I liked at tradelink went to view it but was appalled at the service they provided so I walked. Fast forward one week and I had found one in the town where I used to live. A black 05 GT Zed took her for a test drive and fell in love. We soon agreed a price and the day after I went to collect her. The drive home was amazing ! The amount of power was staggering compared to my 1.4l MG. I was hooked addicted to the noise. Got her home safely via Halfords who at the time were doing 3 for 2 on all autoglym products including kits. I walked out with this I soon got to work giving her a lovely shine that I could see my ugly mug in. I then went for a quick photoshoot around my local area (Clacton) 3 Months on and I had caught the bug I needed more noise so after listening to countless youtube sound clips I settled on a Cobra Non-Res from CS. Shiney The car sounds much better now and has even set off a parked car alarm in the middle of town . Soon after that LED bulbs were purchased from autobulbsdirect and were swiftly changed over. Very happy with the result. On to January 05 and she needed a service so after asking around and being told to go to Kaiser off I popped at 6 in the morning to get there in time. WRONG the A12 was a nightmare and a journey that should have taken 1hour 45mins took me 3 hours ! Sly was very understanding and got to work straight away advising me that an engine and fuel system flush was recommended so I agreed and off he popped. Whilst sitting in the waiting room I was gobsmacked by the amount of certificates he had up on the wall which in turn filled me with confidence. P3 serivce completed and up onto the Hunter Hawkeye system which was very cool. Wheels all aligned properly all that was left was an MOT. Whilst I was waiting to leave for my MOT a guy turns up in a 1000BHP NIssan GTR! So we got talking and an hour flew by. MOT time and fingers crossed she would be ok. She sailed through no advisory's at all. So after that had all been finished I set off for home excited to go through the Dartford tunnel. The Cobra really did sound brilliant going through there and I had a few lads in a M3 give me a nod. After pay day a decided to do some small mods and ordered some "z" wheel caps from Asad, A stubby aerial from Steve at Redline and some 350z forum stickers. I fitted them today and love the wheel caps. So far so good. List of mods Id like to do as follows: V2 Bumper with canards Spoiler HFC's Nismo spats Diffuser Roof Spoiler Wheel Spacers Lowering Window Tints. I'm sure that list will get bigger. Thanks for looking Jake
  13. Hello all just wondering if anyone has imported a body kit from America and had any feedback on rough import costs. I'm looking at this V2 kit but haven't heard of duraflex before which makes me a little uneasy. Does any one have a duraflex kit and can comment on its quality? http://www.bodykits.com/Extreme-Dimensions/Body-Kits/Nissan-350Z-Duraflex-N_2-Body-Kit-_-5-Piece-_-104989/895461/
  14. Just got in from work ripped open my parcel and am so pleased ! These wheel caps look the dog's. Can't wait to get them on. Thanks for the brilliant service
  15. Very nice ! Love the wheels Where in Essex are you ?
  16. Tradelink wouldn't let me test drive a Z. My girlfriend also overheard them say 'he can't afford that' needless to say I promtly left and brought from Hoddeston motor company who were fantastic.
  17. I would stay away form glyn hopkin Colchester they do not have a clue. One of there techs told me there was no such thing as p1,p2'p3 service lol. Your better off driving to Rochester and seeing sly at keister motors. Plus you get to go throught dart ford tunnel on the way home.
