100 miles isn't that bad I have a 10" Pioneer sub to go in the OEM location, and I have a Kenwood 600w amp. However I need to find a location to put that as its quite big and I doubt it will fit the area where the Bose amp was.

Hi Gang, Okay, so i have fitted my cheap Chinese head unit (which is awesome for the price), and now I am onto the sub and amp. The previous owner had a good sound system which was removed befor ei purchased it, so there is no wiring or Bose kit left. Just door and rear speakers. When I comes to wiring up subs and amps, I am not so good......so, I was wondering if the is anyone Round the Berkshire/Buckinghamsire area who would like to give me a hand Beers and or cash on offer here... And my company for an afternoon.....which is priceless.

At first I thought it was the back box, but it's clearly coming from the front. The suggestion that the cat support brace is missing is probably my best avenue to investigate, and I have managed to pick up a brace for £20. I will update if this is a fix for me or not as I am sure other people will have this problem.

Hi Steve, I am after an OEM cat support bracket and drivers side arch liners and undertray? Don't suppose you have anyof these bits still? Cheers

Looking for a OEM Cat brace (the big bar that holds both cats still and stops that annoying rattle) Don't actually need the cats....just the brace. So if anyone has fitted HFC's or De Cats recently and don't need that bar, let me know. Many thanks Edd

I shudder to think what mine is running....it feels so slow at the moment. Where would be the best place for me to go get a dyno/ remap? I live around Wycome, but I want to take it somewhere that knows Z's...

So I have had my Z for a a couple of months now and since I have had it, I have heard a rattle coming from the underside on the car ( sounds like its directly under the drivers seat) when the car is revved to approx 2/2.5k RPMs . It sounds like a tinny vibration and it makes my Nismo exhaust sound like a bag of dicks! And it's really embarrassing as it sounds like something is about to fall off. So some info on my exhaust, Nismo S tune cat back, resonated De cats ( make unknown) I also have a slight blow also coming from under the car too which is getting sorted...however I don't think is the cause of the rattle. Also, the noise is very very faint on a cold start...once it's been driven for a while the rattle is unbearable. Now I appreciate this is a post which has come up before from others users....pretty sure I have read them all, but what I haven't seen is anyone that has a definitive solution, has anyone had this issue and managed to get it sorted? I have been told it could be the de cats/ heat shield/ baffles/ something else touching the system. I have read lots of scare stories of de cat/ hi flow cats buggering Nismo exhausts by blowing out the baffles, and the last thing I want to do is take it off. So before I take it to the garage to pay some idiot who just learned to walk upright that morning to waste a days worth of labour just to shrug his shoulders and mumble "I dunno" like the greasy ape he is... Does anyone have an idea of what the issue is, or even better....a fix!? Cheers

I have just heard from a guy who had a ticket/pass and 3 track sessions who has had to pull out A shame as he sold his 240z track carand bought a 350z but blew his engine last weekendNot sure if StevoD is still interested as he pmed me a while ago9 saying he could not make it unles circumstances have changed if anyone else interested contact me and will give you guys contact number Does he have a club stand pass? Thanks for the warm welcome guys! However I feel it may of been warmer if I was a hot young lady......*ahem* In regards to my Cat issue.....got the car up on the ramp and saw it actually has no cats....so CEL mystery solved. Will buy those Berks Cats later in the year. And the rattle does seem to be heat shields just ever so slightly touching the exhaust...mainy on the right side. Any ideas of how to solve this? It's a Nismo exhaust so ideally I want to keep it on the car. Cheers Edd
