In the end I bought a 5in Tom-Tom Start 25 from Halfords yesterday and got them to fit it in the top cubbyhole and hard wired it and it took them 2hrs to fit .I am well pleased with it as it not only covers the UK but all of Europe as well and I get four free map updates a year for life.It cost me £105 which included fitting I will post a pic when I find my camera.

I think convertibles are meant to be worth less than Coupes but come the summer I know which one I prefer. I have had coupes but being a biker as well I love the feeling of freedom a convertibles gives you.

I have just rang up Gloucester Nissan to see what it would cost to have a Satnav put in my 2006 car and was told it would cost £2150 for the parts and £310 to have it fitted and to update the maps each year would cost £150. I did not realise it would be so expensive and do you think I should buy a Tomtom.

Welcome to the forum and if the clutch pedal goes floppy on you and you get a burning smell get back to me as this happened to me and I took it back to the dealer as Nissan of Gloucester said I needed a new clutch and flywheel and got my money back which I should not have done as I found out afterwards it would have only cost £350 to put right.

I went to check my oil today for the first time. I had no problem pulling it out and the oil did look a bit dark so wiped it off and tried to put it back in to check the level but unlike with the wife I could not find the hole no matter how hard I tried. I then got a torch to see if I could see the hole still no luck as even with my torch I could see nothing so had to spend another ten min trying to get the dipstick back in and after a lot of pushing and prodding I managed to slip it in but did not want to pull it back out again in case it would not go in again, and also does the 350Z have the longest dipstick on any car or am I the biggest dipstick of all.

Two things:
1. Why don't you do it? It's all public info.
2. In what way would any of that stop you getting mugged??!!
My reply was because goatboy was asked if he ever went out
