That would be mine. only bought it off him last sept. unfortunately it's currently on stands in Yorkshire with a number of bits missing. Would've been happy to have a drive over if it was with me

very sad news, he seemed a decent lad.

Hey, are you able to make contact so the family can know the situation? Might take some of the stress away of them trying to track you down.

  3. I've just walked through the door with Rainbow 6 for the Xbone. Looking forward to playing it :)

Let me know what u think of it matey I'm interested in this game just get a bit of mixed reviews

It's awesome. I've just spent a few hours and it's so addictive. Very tactical but great fun. No running around shooting and spawning like COD and Battlefield. You are in a team of 5, either attacking or defending set in locations like houses, airplanes etc with multiple entry points. You have things like hostages to rescue, bombs to defuse etc. If defending then you need to fortify the area with barbwire, re-enforced walls etc. If you attack, then you have gas bombs to knock people out, sledgehammers etc. smash walls downs. It always ends in a very intense firefight.

I'm totally loving it and I can imagine in a team with headsets, it's very strategic. In the few games I had, I had the sledgehammer so my team who wait for me to breach and they would move in and provide cover. So much fun.

  4. Thanks folks, was a bit of a downer but I'll take a trip to Infinity Glasgow to get a quote to make her shiny again.

Police were very helpful and positive about it, said they will get right on to it and pay her a visit and get back to me.

Keep us posted on how things work out and good luck. Dash cam is a great idea also, they are so cheap these days as well. Mine was £50 and one of the better ones at the time.

  5. Those Thrustmaster wheels do look nice. Generally great reviews also. Would consider one if I didn't have a G27.

They are a good bit of kit. Originally got the TX as I used an XBone, but have since moved to PC. A colleague of mine has recently taken delivery of a whole host of Fanatec gear - V2 base, GT Rim, V3 pedals and V1.5 shifter. I am rather jealous :surrender:

He must be very poor now but very happy :) I must admit, I'm considering the Fanatec stuff when my G27 dies. The thing is, even my G25 is still working perfectly so I have no hope of the G27 clonking out any time soon :)

Might just say sod it and get the Thrustmaster stuff so I can use it on Forza 6 as well as the PC. Really like the look of the T3PA Pro pedals, especially as they can be mounted upside down.
