  1. Everyone is suggesting different engine oils in all different threads, and some threads are dated now. I'm just asking for a straight forward answer, which engine oil is the best to use for a DE engine?
  2. Hi everyone, My 350z is due a service now and I remember reading threads in the past that say we should be careful in which engine oil we use as some have bad effects? Mine is a 2004 reg with the DE engine and has done around 100,000 miles. Which engine oil would you recommend and why?
  3. Sorry to bump up this thread but I have a question. I too am running LMGT4's on my 350z and these are the tyre sizes: Front - 235/35/19 Rear - 255/35/19 Is this okay or should the sizes be different?
  4. Hi, Does anyone have radiator cooling fans or the motors available?
  5. Thanks, I will message him now.
  6. Thanks buddy, I'll wait for your reply.
  7. Hey everyone, I have a massive problem and would really appreciate your help. My 350z '53'reg with the DE engine has started to overheat! It overheats when the car is idle/stationary but as soon as I drive off and doing 25mph+ then the temperature goes back to normal. I read up a few threads on different forums regarding this problem and it indicates that the thermostat could be stuck on closed position which causes it to overheat whilst stationary. I bought a Mishimoto thermostat and got it replaced by my mechanic who confirmed that indeed my old thermostat was seized up, but the overheating problem still remains even after replacing the thermostat. I checked to see if the fans rotate and noticed one of the fan comes on with the A/C and the other rotates intermittently (my mechanic thinks one of the fan is not rotating fast enough to cool the engine down). Could it be the fans or the thermostat switch? I don't know if this information would help but prior to my car overheating it was parked for almost a month. I really need to bring my beloved 350z back on the road with all the problems sorted. Can anyone please help me with some advice or guidance? Thanks in advance

    Blitz Spoiler

Hi, I'm after a Blitz spoiler if anyone has it?
  13. Thought I'd share a picture of 'Z'ena
  14. It's supposed to be MOT friendly as far as I'm aware buddy. If you remove the cats' only then it's an issue with MOT. Are you going to an exhaust specialist? Just to give you an idea, I went to an exhaust specialist and they charge me £50 including their own pipe. I don't think it should be anymore tbh....and don't forget to take your original resonator back with you just incase you want to put it back to stock
  15. If you're after noise when you put your foot down and quiet like stock when cruising then I would definitely recommend it! A cost efficient mod you can't really go wrong with
  16. As far as I know there are no cons. I've done it recently and regret not doing it earlier I too feared of the drone before removing the resonator, but after removing it I'm honestly surprised how there is no drone even at high speeds!
  17. As promised...here are the videos of the stock exhaust with and without the resonator: Stock exhaust with resonator http://s1226.photobucket.com/user/topilaal/media/20140315_124627.mp4.html Stock exhaust without resonator http://s1226.photobucket.com/user/topilaal/media/20140316_141009.mp4.html I do want to mention that the car does sound a bit raspy when it's started up from cold but once it's warmed up it sounds a lot better.......and the video doesn't do justice to the actual sound
