  1. I've a problem with the window, occasionally not operating when using the switch. It cant be the motor as the window usually goes up and down. I reckon its a loose connection or.....? Anyone had the same issue/know of a remedy?

    350Z ICE unit

Anyone got a reasonable quality used stereo unit with possibly a satnav they would like to shift? It would need to fit into the space currently occupied by the original Bose unit on the Zed. Needed too would be the mounting plate to fit.
  3. Anyone got a reasonable quality stereo with satnav? One that will work with the steering wheel controls? Where can I get a suitable surround for the stereo to fit into the existing space? Thanks.
  4. Nice! Ditto to lose the extra badge!
  5. If they're still available, I could collect next Saturday?
  6. I've a set of 30mm coming off of a 350Z, next weekend. Any interest?
  7. I'll have a set of 30mm Eibachs available once the new 17 Teins are fitted, if your interested.
  8. Well, new springs & banana arms are on their way. I'm frustrated currently going over those short speed humps where if not very careful, I almost get stuck! Recently took the top off of a pile of horse doo doo, here in the Forest, blocking the air intake to the fuel system! I'm trusting that the new springs (17/15mm) will assist, rather than the 30's currently fitted. Fingers firmly X-d!

Update, update! New 17/15mm springs, fitted! I have to say I was fearful of negotiating those 'orrible, short speed humps, even with the "highered" suspension! As you'd expect, I approached the 1st with extreme caution. Never mind the cue forming behind! Front wheels over, very carefully. No clunk as per previous.

Slowly moving forward. And then  the rear wheels. They've rarely been an issue in the past so I wasn't that concerned. No bottoming,.... result! On to the next. No bottoming out there either!

We spent a couple of days confronted by various speed humps and with the exception of 1 steep, short little blighter where even a Land Rover would have had an issue, JOB DONE! Thank you all for your help and advice with this one, its appreciated!

  9. Anyone a set of Teins for a 350Z that they don't want/would like swop for 30mm Eibachs? I've decided that bearing in mind where ii live and the stones, humps and bumps we have in the area, going to 17mm would be a smart move!
  10. I'm now committed to changing my 30mm Eibach lowering springs for 17mm Teins. I reckon this will give me clearance over speed humps and stones that get deposited on the track to Chez N13GEY. As a 1st pass, has anyone a set of 17mm Teins that are going begging/swop for Eibachs?
  11. So sorry to have missed it! And we only live down the road. Next year......
  12. Fab PM at the Zed Shed! As ever, Chris & Kim hosted a superb event, (despite the lack of steak) ably assisted by Beb and Team on the BBQ. The new marquee and plunge pool were great additions. What next we ask! Mr & Mrs N13GEY
  13. That'd be brill! All 4? OK for a 2004 Zed? Would you be happy to parcel them up so I could arrange collection? Suggest PM me with details if pos.
  14. Thanks, everyone for your advice & suggestions. I feel a spring changing session coming along!
  15. Anyone assist? I've a 2004 Zed, lowered by 30mm. I have issues negotiating speed humps and would like to reduce the lowering to say 15 or 20mm. Any advice? I've a set of standard springs in the garage and if I decide to reduce the lowering to say 15 or 20mm could these standard springs be cut or modified? Again any advice would be appreciated.
  16. Fab-u-lous! Just done it. Sooo simple, when you know how! Thanks a bunch. Nigel
  17. Anyone help? I've an airbag warning light come on. It coincided with going through a pothole which caused a significant jolt. No airbag was deployed and I'm thinking its a sensor that's been actioned? Suggestion on what to do next would be appreciated.
