  1. Thanks to all at the Zed Shed, the roadster is now speed bump safe and the girlfriend is happy!

It was really good to meet you all, thanks for the help, coffee and the laughs, I'm sure I'll be back at some point :)

  2. The rad failed on my mrs' mr2 and dumped all the coolant on our drive way. I replaced the rad and had to bleed the system, but got an airlock which was a right sod to get over-but once I got the coolant flowing and the air out all was fine - so fingers crossed yours doesn't overheat again!

  3. Hey mate, good to meet you too, and thanks for the coffee :)

No they were fully booked for the weekend, which is a shame. I managed to get it done at a alignment centre closer to home - would have preferred to use Christchurch though!

  5. Ferrari nose looks flatter more like a wedge.

The lotus split "camel toe" is an interesting idea.

Mercedes were running their new car at silverstone today, they put a clip of the sound on YouTube, sounds pretty good actually!!

  6. £150 is a rip off, London or not. OK, if there is significant changes and bolts are seized then maybe but there are plenty of places around the London area that will do a quality check/adjust for under £100.

How much is the kit though, surely they've got to recoup their investment?

A Hunter Hawk Eye system with a proper alignment ramp is around £30K

A lot of money, but not a bad investment when charging around £50 per check (plus £xx for adjustments).

  7. If you've got the original roof vinyl material, you'll probably struggle to close it in this weather...by close I mean put I down. It's so tough and inflexible that the mechanism really struggles. I decided to get a mohair roof fitted and they even said the same, without prompting....when it warms up it will probably all fold away no worries....or get a mohair hood fitted.

  8. Thanks for the link. I have a nipple weeping fluid (!!) I'm not sure if it simply needs nipping up or if it has failed, I will check in the morning when it's light - but I'll order these anyways, for under £10 it's worth having them in the garage :)
