Thanks for the response. I'll have to take it all apart and compare it to the working KPH set to see if anything got damaged during shipping etc. can't believe this has happened, everything else went fairly well.
Thanks for the help

Hi, I've got the same issue, I've fitted a mph set ( mine was kph) and the trip screen doesn't work. What caused your problem, did you get it fixed? Thanks. I PMd you about this too.

Has anyone swapped their kph trip computer for a mph trip computer and it not worked?
I have done the above and the digital display isn't working, the volts, oil pressure are ok, but there is no info in the display. When I plug my kph set back in and they work as expected, full display and the button on the dash cycles through the different displays etc.
I've attached a picture so you can see, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Do you think I could have a faulty gauge cluster unit, or do I need to change the white control module behind the dash? I bought the cluster from a seller on this site, he says it was good.
Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated guys; this is really bugging me and getting me down, I thought it was going to be easy plug and play.
It may be worth noting I have replaced the headunit this weekend, but remember the kph set still works when plugged in.

I would be interested in a set too, if anyone fancies making some again !

Yeah I got the incartech kit. It's not a problem, I'd just like to check its different because mine is a preface lift, rather than me doing something wrong!

Old thread I know, but when fitting a double din to a pre 2006 car, does the headunit still get mounted to the car and the dash clip over it (as in this guide). I've been doing this job today but I can't see (with a pre facelift car and the adaptors I have) how to do this ; it appears I need to remount the headunit onto the dash facia, and put it all back in as one, as with the factory unit. ?
Anyone with experience of this, would appreciate to hear. Thanks

Thanks for the clarification. It would appear from the above posts that I should have already known that!
Cheers

I'd love to fit a set of these to the Mr's 350z but I'm worried about the quality from the states. I'll put a wanted post up. Wonder how much Alex sells them for?

Awaiting delivery of a key case from eBay ( thanks for the info and links )
Been getting the car ready for my mrs to start driving it, her first comment ... "I don't like the key" - so thank god for this thread, thought I'd have to sell the car LOL
Did anyone find a supply of the 350z stickers for the rectangle cut out on the front side of the key ?
-
I paid £850 for the complete supply and fit. The mohair roof is far superior to the material the 350z uses as standard and will easily outlast the factory roof.
I'll take some pics tomorrow.

Hey guys, I went to this place today http://www.carhood.com car hood warehouse in Chessington.
These guys really know their cabriolets !
I had a black mohair roof fitted to my girlfriends 350z roadster by them. It's 100% better than the original, I'm so pleased with the look and the quality.
If your roof is damaged, tatty or has a bodged repair (like in our case) then don't put it off, give them a call.

Lock up your Zed for the winter and run this through the rain and salty roads!
2004 VAUXHALL VECTRA SRI 16V.
2.2i Direct Petrol
I've owned this car for 18 months. Our original plan was to keep it for a year while we moved house and began renovations, but it's simply kept going without issue, so didn't look to replace it! I'm only selling it now because I've been offered to buy a car from my parents for a price which I can't refuse!
Exterior wise, it has some age related scratches and marks, but no rust or major damage. I would describe as average to good for the year and mileage. I've seen a lot worse!
The Interior is in excellent condition, no damage to the seats etc. I would describe as good for the year and mileage.
- It has some service history,
- The car comes Taxed and MOTd until June 2014.
- Recently had new battery and alternator.
- Very important to note this car has had the two major (expensive) common faults fixed with the 2.2 direct engine;
1) Fuel Pump
2) Cam chains (main and balance) and tensioners.
I also had the auxiliary belt and tensioner replaced at the same time as the cam chains, then not long after, I had the front lower ball joints and anti roll bar bushes replaced.
This is a good clean car, you would struggle to beat it for the money. I've advertised it locally for £995 ono, with the imminent arrival of my new car, plus my partner has just bought a 2nd car for herself we simply don't have the space to keep all 4 cars! Hence the low price, come and see it and make me an offer!
£950 ono - based in Camberley Surrey.

Did you ever get this done, interested in your findings and experience ?

bump, still got some?

looking forward to seeing it now. hope the mrs will like it, that's the main thing!!
We asked the seller to get the paintwork done on our behalf, it was a local company from what I understand. I will try to find out for you. also the mirrors and handles are gloss black to match the wheels, so its tied in together.
-
Sorry, I mean did the red one have black wheels?
If it was our car, its because its not been driven much....and just had the front painted (stone chip removal!) so its probably been buffed over too! Hope it looked good, ive not seen it yet.
