Goin to buy a double din unit and would like a little advice as to what dash filler kit to get (which actually fits) and what wiring harness to get that will result in a smooth painless installation?
Cheers guys!
Recieved and fitted today! Its just completes the interior perfectly! Also Hopefully hold the heat in the cockpit now coming into the colder weather!
Cheers ian!
Nah not from aberdeen, just found this company thru an ebay listing! Their site is something like bolaalloys.com but I'l double check when I get home from work! Am from n.irland btw!
I'l get u more pics when I give her a wash next cause u dont appreciate the finish or concave look when they are all brake dust!lol
They are a brand called bola! Company from Aberdeen bring in blanks from japan then CNC them to whichever PCD and offset u require! Found it hard finding off the shelf alloys to fit over my brembos and wanted to stay away from rotas cause they were quite similar to my rays!
Got ya!

Takeda intake is top class, received mine from tarmac at the start of the week and I think am gonna loose my license verrrry soon with being addicted to the purring!lol looks the business too with the pipe too!
Cheers lads, so if the history of my car is unknown and has 98k I'd be better just doin everything now? Any problems with using iridium plugs instead of stock ones?
Apart from the P1,2 and 3 services. When is it recommended to do plugs, gearbox oil, diff oil and fuel and oil filter? My Zed is nearing the 100k and feel I would like to give her a massive refreshing service, any down sides to this? Thanks
Yeah that's another issue I have read about, heat soak and water ingress :S Surely with the climate in this country you would rather ur filter tucked up nice and dry in ur engine bay rather than snorking thru heavy rain and puddles down at the front grill?lol think I would prefer a few horsies less in return for dry air? Or have I got this all wrong?
Cheers for all the input guys. All making very valid points, but still swayed toward the massive v6 induction noise. Had an astra turbo for years and stuck with original airbox with good panel filter and larger air intake pipe, so need some grunt in my life for once!lol seen the takeda dry short ram kit! Keenly priced and can get to matche my engine bay mod/colour scheme!
Pretty much as the title asks, why are pop chargers talked about alot more than normal filters and kits? Any benefits and why are they called pop chargers and not just a jwt induction kit?lol
