Hi Guys I was giving her a hard ride yesterday through some bends with some heavy braking, it was quite a hot day, then heard my clutch pedal thud to floor and it won't come back up, managed to get it home rev matching into gear. i've seen many posts on here regarding boiling the fluid, master cylinder or slave clyinder.. the spring is all in tact and i've found no leaks, the clutch fluid is below the Min, but not below the pipe so it hasn't got air in the system yet! anyone solved this by simply sucking out the old crap with a syringe and filling it back up and pressing the clutch to presurise it? lastly is there a way i can diagnose if it's slave or master? the master looks relatively easy to do?   2. haah yes it's around 112DB with the bungs out, i get away with driving it around with bungs in with decats, it's around 104DB then, it did sound alot better before the decats but i'd rather have the performance, tempted to go cobra resonated soon.
  3. Hi Guys & Gals, My names Jason, I registered here last year and haven't really given much of an update on my zed so thought I'd drop a post by including dyno figures! So here's how i bought here in Christmas 2013, 60k on the clock, DE, JDM Import, I named her Jennifer, after Jennifer Lawrence First thing i did was buy a Front Nismo Lip & a Strosek spoiler which I bought off members on here, painted and fitted beautifully. I then bought a new exhaust System, Full Japspeed K1, De-catted and fitted the Motor-dyne plenum spacer & Remap, Results with Dyno below: This was then followed by a nice set of Rota G-Force & D-Force Alloys and is where I've been for the last 5 months or so while i decided what to do next! Hi guys I haven't often paid attention to the oil pressure but recently on cold starts the needle goes right round too max at 8KKPA it'll bounce between 6-8 anytime I go over 2.5-3k revs until it's warm, once she's been running it goes back to normal! is this normal or should I replace the sensor?

  6. I just borrowed a decibel meter from work at 5k revs it was 95-100 and loudest it reached once I let off the gas was 108, do you think it would be safe to fabricate some sort of perforated resonance reducing material into the cans or to the bungs?
  7. Hi Guys, I've had the K1 on my car for about 6 months now and loved the tone, I booked a remap in with Mark at Abbey for nextweek. Problem is I fit Japspeed Decats and Y-pipe on Sunday and the car is so loud, and that's with bungs in... I don't want to lose the gain the decats would give me and i won't have a problem getting an MOT I'm just concerned about the rozzers... anyone here have a similar setup and had issues? or Anyone had any luck with adding resonators or buying different/better bungs to quieten it down? Also how much potential gain would i be set to lose if i revert back to standard cats? Thanks, J

K1 has a nice tone with standard cats, I just fitted Decats to it Sunday, and it's so loud and has ruined the sound (very raspy sounds like thunder), I don't know what to do as it's booked in for a remap next wednesday, so don't know weather to go back to cats or just map and risk the 5-0, or find a different catback

  16. Btw I meant crankshaft not cam shaft, assume these both have the same symptoms though!
  17. Yeah took it in today, cam shaft sensor code, don't know weather it's bank 1 or 2 though they didn't say so may have to go back again
  18. I'll give that a go in the morning, i just started it up now and only the Engine management light was on, the rest had sorted themselves out.. or seemingly for now, based in Norwich so highly unlikely!
  19. be worth noting i had full alignment done yesterday buy can't see how that would affect it? used STS and they played around with it for 2 hours as it was reading -300 on the back toe's only for them to have incorrectly having the laser equiptment fitted, could they have damaged anything in the tracking/camber etc?
