  1. Hi Guys i had my DE remapped last year with Japspeed, De-cats, Y-Pipe and a K1. I've just bought a HR standard system, i aim to keep the decats but run the HR Y-pipe, cut out the silencer in the center pipe and run the standard backbox. will this cause me any issues in terms of the map and peformance or restrict it at all? I know the HR y-pipe is alot better then the DE, but is it better then a Aftermarket? would I be better off keeping the Cats and Y-Pipe and just changing the centerpipe and backbox? Thanks in advance! Jason
  2. still looking considering anything now
  3. I'll take that bradders, you got any center pipes at all? most compatible with it i guess?
  4. yeah bud keeping the decats and Y-pipe just want to change my catback! as long as it covers most of my new exhaust i'm not too fussed, seen one go for 210 this week, but i'd probably be looking for around 175 plus delivery
  5. As title reads, looking for a Japspeed K2 exhaust or similar, Have a K1 that can be used as Part EX last resort but that is potentially sold upon me finding what i'm looking for. please help a brother out! Cheers, Jason
  6. can't believe I haven't seen this thread until now, i literally live 5 minutes away, was good to meet you all lastnight, photo's to follow shortly!
  7. I'm looking to sell my K1 on my car atm but should have a new exhaust turning up next week so could get it to you middle of week after next?
  8. I have a K1 I'm looking to sell its on my car atm though can get it too you within a week or two at most?
  9. Liked the idea of being different, nah the ones on the back curve in ones on the front out. Would look weird the otherway round imo.. Also they are 9 and 10 j wider on the back
  10. Thanks Alex, i have everything you mentioned above bar the clutch and fly, was hoping they didn't need replacing, is your logic based on the fact that while it's all out just do it because of labour costs? or you just shouldn't put the old stuff back in?
  11. So i snapped my pivot bearing a while back and the garage have fitted a new, the mechanic phoned me to say my flywheel is on it's way out and has around 1 1/2 inch of play, he said it could last another 5-6 months or longer but as he's there and has the gearbox etc out im tempted to just replace it, alternatively i could wait for it to go and do the clutch and flywheel in a one. how much play should it have? also has anyone replaced their clutch thruster bearing, apparently that's making alot of noise too, I've never noticed it though.
  12. so the salve was leaking i ordered a new one went to fit it today and i loosened off the slave to find my fork literally wiggles in the gator!, so either a bearing or the fork it's self tranny out job, don't care about the time anyone know how much the parts are?
  13. when this happened to me it was my crankshaft position sensor, was actually a recall by Nissan, so if you contact them it should be free mine was last year and the recall was from 2004 onwards, dunno if they used the same parts with your car and the issue is related but hey!
  14. yeah i just tried flushing fluid through it, it gains a bit of pressure but just kept taking more and more fluid in, i then looked under the car to notice a small puddle so i'd assume salve/pipe leak, will do both.
  15. Thanks Paddy, seems it's either the master or the salve and there's no real telling which one it is!
  16. yeah I can manually pull it back into position no problem just doesnt return once pushed down! not flapping about at all it's still under tension and quite firm when in the correct position
  17. haha please do share, think i'll give it a bleed tonight and put some fluid through and see if it gains pressure so i know for sure what the issue is, would hate to buy all that for it to be a fork or the ball lol
  18. Brilliant thanks for all your help alex, i do have some of the motul fluid spare here i used on my brake system on my service, think i have a full bottle infact!
  19. I'm on DE first time i'm glad to say that then! easy enough to do on the DE? is it visible from under the car as again i've had no leaks which is odd, going to bleed the clutch tonight with new fluid, then try to diagnose Slave or master i guess...
  20. thanks alex, I've heard the Slave is a box out job, hope that's not true lol
