  1. Hi,

How long does your water temperature gauge take to reach normal from cold? By cold I mean left garaged overnight during the recent warm weather. Mine is at normal in no more than 0.75 mile, it just seemed quick to me and I wondered if this is normal. It doesn't appear to increase at all after this so hopefully nothing to worry about? :)

  2. oh lordy lordy, now I'm torn, what should I do now!!!?lol :D

That's looking good Dave, getting my spacers this week, need new rims but can't afford that yet!! Prefer my polished ally stubby though!! lol :D

It's good to be different so no problem there but a black stubby cuts through the air cleaner and adds at least 2bhp ;)

  3. Cheers Chris,

I suspect you are right, caught the bug big time, I'll put this one on the back burner I think.

    Cheers

Has anyone tried LED rear stop light bulbs rather than the expensive LED cluster upgrade, or am I being tooo cheap? Something has to give for the time being though, only had the beast a couple of weeks now and the wallet is under strain!! 2004 GT :)

Think you might be missing the point mate. It does'nt matter wether it's a red, white or blue LED or normal bulb it's still just a light source shining through a red plastic defuser.

The post 06 LED is a different design with multiple single LEDs hense face lift and looks pretty.

Just wait till you can afford the new clusters.I did because I think they look good.

We all within a week of being on this forum WANT....New Lights, spacers, new burger badges, wheel badges, interior LEDs etc, etc.

    Oh and a stubby.

Slowly slowly catchy monkey................unless you are loaded.. I'm not so it just takes time.

  4. Used to swear by BA but recently, since they have been under pressure, standards seem to have slipped, not many happy smiling faces!! Flew to South Africa last year with Virgin and they couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant, not much in it in economy for leg room etc. One thing to keep in mind though, BA have huge fleet, so if things go wrong with aircraft they are much likelier to have a replacement in place fairly promptly. The Virgin fleet, by comparison is small. On balance Virgin for me currently. Hope this helps :)

  6. Hi,

It's because Privilege Insurance is underwritten by Direct Line and they have had a policy (no pun intended) of not insuring cars with ANY mods, and that includes tinted windows. Some years ago I worked for a company that provided services for Direct Line and if my memory serves correctly both companies wee in the same building!!

Just phoned them and they will not insure any performance mods as of 2nd April this year.

That's just stuffed me for changing my exhaust :bang: The lack of exhaust sound is the only downside of the car.

Looks like I'll have to wait until November and move my policy...well cheesed off.
