firstly " to hate on" is a phrasal verb, secondly it is originally English unlike to have a "stiff upper lip" which is actually an Americanism! who'd've thunk it?
Technically, 'to hate on' may be a phrasal verb, but it's not a good one. In fact, it's a very poor one, as it's tautological - the word 'on' is always superfluous when conjoined to the verb 'to hate'. You may be right about its origins, but currently it's inextricably linked to loud, young American culture. I just hate on it.

It's Collinite 915 "Marque d'Elegance" for me - Goes on/off really easily, water just sheets off it, it lasts and it smells so lovely too. One tin lasts forever.

At the risk of alienating 20% of the forum I also had a titter at this:

Colour
Orange
Well it would have been funny if the car was blue, black, yellow, white, silver or grey, but as it is actually orange I can't quite see the joke.

...and don't forget that your money-grabbing insurance company might like to know about them.

someone please close this thread
Why? People have different opinions, thats what makes life interesting.
Maybe its because, like me, he can't stand seeing that americanised bastard verb, "to hate on". Just my opinion.

Just a question from general curiosty, why do people completely hate on the 350z? ive seen a number of posts on social media...
Social media may be harming your life. Let the haters hate on, dude, lol, rofl, pmsl, etc.

Only glimpsed it very briefly a couple of days ago, but it looked lovely for some reason (did it have black wheels?).

...I would appreciate a response to this complaint.

Brilliant!
He's clearly been inspired by my hero - Rodney Shu, on Singsnap - http://www.singsnap....n/play/b4f0a76a (click 'PLAY', just below the small screen)
If you like Rodney's version of 'Jolene', just click here - http://www.singsnap....tly=0&year=2008 for access to many more potential mega-hits.

See when writing a letter, I'll post it up here first, but... Should I go something like this.
Short introduction as to why I am writing
Explain my journey and why I was making it
Explain how/why I was stopped.
Explain why I am aggrieved by this (detail officer name)
Explain my reasoning as to being aggrieved (I was wearing a belt, and don't believe they can even see the seatbelt mounts in a following car)
Explain the officer was condescending, arrogant and abrupt
Close with a paragraph stating I intend to pay the fine as I believe I have no chance of winning in court, but make it clear I find this very unfair.
Perfect.

Try the default reset and let us know if it works - unless of course you've go loads of personalised settings that you don't ant to lose.

The best solution is to complain like mad, by phone and email, explaining what happened just as you have here. If they've done it once, they may have done it before - and you will be helping to build a picture of their dishonesty. So, even if it costs you £100, you will have the comfort of knowing that you may be helping to stop these bent bastards from robbing other innocent members of the public.
As you can see, I believe your story
-
Good reply mate - I expect that'll solve the issue.
To be honest, I think that resetting the Defaults may be the easiest way to do it - That Satnav manual is a nightmare, don't you think?
-
Right - I think I'm in a position to help you a bit now, having fiddled around in the Display Settings screen earlier today (in an effort to help you) and cocked it up, giving me a similar problem to you!
My problem was that I accidentally set it to Night Mode - even when the headlights were switched off - and for quite a while I didn't manage to set it back to 'auto'.
My best advice is as follows...
1. Make sure your headlights are switched off.
2. Go to Settings > Display > Background Colour
3.Toggle the Day/Night button until you get the 'daytime' image in the small preview screen.
Try that - If it doesn't work first time, keep fiddling with different settings in that particular menu, because eventually you'll hit on the correct setting.
I managed it - and my satnav now switches to the 'night screen' again, every time I switch the headlights on.
The reassuring thing is that your satnav isn't faulty and it is able to toggle between Day & Night - you just haven't got it on the correct setting yet. Someone's clearly fiddled with it in the past, beacuse you aren't currently on the default setting.
If you get really desperate, you could always try hitting the 'default' button, as follows...
Settings > Navigation > Reset All Navigation Settings to Default > press Enter > select Yes > press Enter.
This won't delete your memory items, such as stored destinations.
Hope this helps.

(Found a copy of a US manual here: http://www.nissanusa...n-08IT-Navi.pdf )
Looks like you may need Chapter 8, page 5 - known as page 8-5.
...although it seems weird that your screen doesn't change to night-time automatically when your lights are switched on - I don't know anyone else with this issue. I may need to sit in the car and get to the bottom of it - just like you do!

Accidentally stumbled on this in Pistonheads...
I know it was stolen in April, so it may be history by now, but you never know.
Please delete thread if it's a duplicate.

ill be there what time we going?
I was thinking of getting there at 11am - I think that's the time they start - and staying for a bit. I just phoned The Goat and it does still happen - and it is this Sunday. Apparently the pub opens at 11am and the club members stay till about 2.30pm.

Why on earth is has thread become so complicated and convoluted?
Press the ESP button and you will turn traction control off sufficiently to allow you to go sideways & do donuts. If your ESP is off, you will see an orange warning light on your dash. I used to drive with ESP off all the time in my 350's - great fun.
If you have an import the button is VDC, not ESP, but it does the same thing.

Fair play to the seller. Maybe he just didn't realise how badly damaged it was when he bought it with those panels completely wrecked and smashed to bits and then effected that total bodge job on it. Maybe he just didn't even notice, poor fella. Give the poor guy a break. He might just be totally stupid and can't help it. I don't think that he's an evil, selfish rotten sod who would be quite happy to take money from a poor innocent buyer - surely nobody would stoop so low, would they? C'mon guys.

I've plasti-dipped the front fangs on my 370. Really easy to use - and reversible. I'm going to spray the area of the rear bumper surrounding the tailpipes when I get round to it. Make sure you buy the real stuff, not a cheap poor imitation.
