I think it'll be a bit of a NO.
The problem is that, however it goes, it's probably given all sorts of other English counties the idea. Who will be next, Cornwall, Berkshire, Norfolk, Merseyside?

I went with the resonated Milltek - looks OEM, sounds great (awarded 'best zorst' on our recent road-trip), doesn't drone, costs less than £900 delivered (cat back) and dead easy to fit. Win.
Please let me know where you can get a resonated Milltek for less than £900 delivered - I've only seen them at about £1,200. Sounds very interesting if it's true.
edit - just realised you're talking about a 350z and I'm thinking of my 370 - duh!

I don't get how that's cocked up?!? If you don't live in a country that's having a vote, then you don't get a vote. Similar that you don't get a vote in one constituency, but you do in your own.
There are plenty of Scots who would disagree with you there mate.
-
Been working for a Scottish couple down my way and asked them the question, same response, 50/50 between their friends up there, but they dont get a vote as they dont live there, whats the reason for that?? Do they presume anyone who has moved from Scotland would probably vote No?
It's not that, its because of the difficulties of establishing who is Scottish...well not so much difficult but time consuming. There are some 500,000+ living in England alone and probably just as many scattered over the globe, just imagine the paperwork involved with that number. Then there's the children of voting age who have at least one Scottish parent and consider themselves Scottish.
Pete
...and as a result, Sir Alex Ferguson DOESN'T get a vote, but Terry Butcher (ex captain of England) DOES get a vote*, just because of where they live.
A universal truth is reaffirmed by this - if you want it cocked up, entrust it to a politician.
*I don't claim credit for this, saw it on the news tonight.

I've decided that the "No's" are definitely going to win, based on my reckoning that quite a few people who are saying "Yes" in public (because it's cool and politically correct) will actually vote "No" in the privacy of the polling booth (because that's what they really believe in).
...Unless I'm very much mistaken... (with thanks to that famous Scot, Murray Walker).

Scotland contributes £3 billion towards Annual Defence budget and only £2 billion is spent in Scotland so we pay for all our Military equipment and then some
It's called protection money. And if you stop paying it, we can't guarantee your safety.
Well last time we had a terrorist attack at Glasgow Airport the guy got leathered by a baggage handler... £3 billion could buy us a lot of baggage handlers lol
You're quite right - I'd think several times before arguing with a Glasgow baggage handler. In fact, you won't need a defence budget at all - a set of bagpipes here and there should do the trick.
-
To be honest, the run-up to this vote is about as interesting as four rounds of golf (and it's taking about the same amount of time, too - if you play it like I do).

I may be completely wrong, but could it just be that your aircon is set to 'auto'? From my memory of the 350 system, every time you hold down the aircon 'auto' button for 2 seconds it toggles between auto and manual.
Apologies if you already knew this and it's not the answer.
Alternatively, if you weren't aware of it, it may be worth trying before you spend money.

Interesting that the poll on this forum is an excellent match for the national opinion polls (I'm only looking at the Scots' votes - the lucky individuals who are actually entitled to vote).
...which leads me to ask a question which has probably been asked already - As this is all about the destruction of the United Kingdom as we know it, why am I, an Englishman, not enfranchised? Can someone please explain it to me? I'm surprised it hasn't been tested as a human rights issue.
You're doing yourself a dis-service thinking it's 'all about the destruction of the United Kingdom', it's about a countries ability to self determine, not harm another country, why would you think that?
So, by ignoring the question are you saying that you don't know why I'm disenfranchised? Currently we are both citizens of the United Kingdom. If a resident of the county of Scotland is getting a vote, why am I, a resident of the county of Hertfordshire, not getting one too? I genuinely don't get it. To answer my own question, I think it's because our weak, stupid Tory/Coalition government has allowed it to happen.
...and to respond to your point, you call it self determination, I call it dismantling.

I have only ever parked like the OP once, and that was outside the local chemists whilst I quickly popped in. The car park was half empty, so I didnt think it would be an issue. However, id barely got out of my car before some passerby started having a go at me for parking in 2 spaces. So ive never done it since.
I try to wait until it's late before I go to supermarkets, then I use the parent & child spaces. I hate the standard spaces.
As a parent with a 10 month old baby, ive only just started using the parent & child spaces and I soon realised that about 60% of people parking in them do not have any children with them and just use them because usually closer to the store. Its infuriating trying to get a baby, pram and all the gear out in an ordinary space just because some selfish so & so has parked in a parent & child space.
I'll take your anger and carry on doing it.

I hate dogs.
BTW, dogs hate me too, it's a mutual agreement we have.
They hate me too.

Anyway, back to the tortoise - How is the little fella? Fingers crossed he's doing well.

What an utter tool your friend is. I hope no harm came to the dog!
You're entitled to your opinion, but I'd think twice about saying it to his face
I actually disagree with you, but it would be a dull world if we all agreed.

Ooooer - Hope this doesn't end up in yet another Scottish Civil War

Well done to Ponsonby junior - nice editing. The boy done good.

My daughter's getting ready to sell her 'R' reg MX5 - the headlamps were yellow with crud. All I needed to do was give my son-in-law a bit of Brasso and tell him to rub. 10 minutes later - 2 'brand new' headlamps. He has his uses, as my mother-in-law used to say.
Edit - I could have made a better job of it myself, but I was getting pi**ed off with him standing behind me watching, like it was a free show.

I have a friend
His neighbour had a really yappy dog. It barked all day and it barked all night. My friend asked his neighbour several times if he could stop his dog from being so noisy, because it was disturbing his family and keeping people awake all night. The dog kept yapping.
One day my friend put the dog in his car and took it to Luton, which is quite a long way away. There, he released the dog, which went away yapping.
Problem solved and no harm done to the dog.
Of course, I'm not suggesting that this would be a good idea in your case.

Top tip - don't announce to the whole online world that you're going away for 2 weeks in the near future. Ooops, too late.
Personally I'd disconnect the battery if you can put it in a garage. I didn't do this and my battery was flat as a pancake when I came back last week after a fortnight away.

I've had a camera like this one for the past few months Andy - CLICK HERE
Can't recommend it highly enough. It would have been perfect for your incident - crystal clear capture of numberplates - and it just works automatically whenever you drive the car. I've been lucky enough to have only had 'near misses' so far, but it's only a matter of time before I encounter a bad driver like yours.
I had to return the first one, but the replacement works perfectly.

I'm hoping that the Orkneys, Shetlands and Aberdeen decide to separate from Scotland - (aren't these the places where most of the oil comes ashore?) - give Salmond a taste of his own medecine.
