  1. Hi there, Garage charged 3 hours to do all of them (I assisted) even though it took 5!! Pushing the bearings out was not a problem as we had access to a 12 ton bearing press, the problem was loosening off all of the ball joints, bolts & nuts, split pins etc. Defo not a driveway job even though I hear people on the forums saying it is, maybe on a new 350, not a 10 year old one! As requested ... this is the link - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171223144872 Regards Just wondering how your getting on with the poly bushes? Ive had mine on for a few months now and there starting to squeak when cold. Just wondering if yours are doing the same? Its not taht big annoyance as after 10 minutes of driving the noise disappears
  2. I'm not completely sure about this but I think the Kinetix HFC don't have mounting points like what the Berks HFC have?? Just another thing to consider
  3. Yea I think he still does supply the kits, but he said that since their is a chance of the paint cracking with the arch rolling he has had some bad experiences with a few people in the past so he prefers not to do it any more...
  4. I just have the standard 18" rays... like she isn't rubbing much just enough to hear it and leave a bit of residue on the tyre. As I said there I don't have the alignment all sorted yet as I was waiting a week or two to let the springs settle, but at the same time cant cope with the idea of her rubbing and damaging the paint Also from what I've read up the front doesn't normally rub as the arches are already rolled, but it might just be catching on one of the arch lining mount bolts or something... any other ideas on it? I'll hopefully have time this weekend to have a proper look at it and get to the bottom of it
  5. Sadly John said he no longer does the arch rolling So ive just gone ahead and bought the arch roller from Desey
  6. I'd take it if I get the postage at the right price
  7. Thanks Kyle.... I'll try and remember to let ya know if it works
  8. Hi guys just got some 20/25mm spacers fitted and the car lowered on H&R springs. Love the look and handling of the car now but I believe that the front and rear tyres are now rubbing the arches I have still to get the alignment all sorted (got the rear eibach control arms to install still...) but I doubt that that will solve all the issues So.... anyone know a good arch roller in Northern Ireland?? Thanks
  9. i'd take a set 20/25 please (that will fit my 30mm lowered 2007??)
  10. I did this previously on a car I owned and I have to say it did look amazing.... But splitting the glass/plastic from the headlight housing is a real pain, and sealing it back up is pretty difficult too as if there are any holes or gaps it will get moisture in and cause it to start to fog up Saying that it did make my car look way better....
  11. Is the Stillen Y-pipe the best Y-pipe for a lowered 350z? Since there are no flexi joints to get torn to bits??
  12. I just completed doing these last weekend and I honestly do notice the difference! The car is much more crisp to drive and no horrid creaking noises when breaking or going over speed bumps The hardest bit of it was getting all the parts off the car as everything was crazy tight and didn't seem to be installed with any grease... I got the parts form here.... http://www.aftermarketsuspensionparts.com/ cost me £120 which included delivery and import tax
  13. Yea I would be interested in hearing that So is the single mass flywheel harder on the drivetrain as there is no dampening with it? Wouldn't want to cause extra wear on other components because of the mod.
  14. So I'm not quite at the stage where I'm looking to buy a new clutch and flywheel, but I do expect it to happen sometime in the future, so I'm just doing my research now! My question is... is there such a thing as a lightweight dual mass flywheel?? Basically a flywheel which will maintain the refinement of the duel mass flywheel, yet have the responsiveness of the (lighter) single mass. Sorry if that is a bit of a noob question! lol (my car is the 2007 313 HR)
  15. Yea I know what you are saying about the quality of the kinetix HFC due to the lower price, but reviews generally don't lie lol. I'm also from Northern Ireland! But anyway... Looks like by best option is just hang off for a wee while and get a set of Berks Cheers
  16. Just out of reading reviews and prices. From what I've read the Kinetix HFC are good quality but are cheaper than them both. Quick search on google and on the company's websites the HFC for the HR motors... Kinetix: $399.99 Berks: $549.99 Invidia's: $728.00 So if they are all good quality and suitable, is kinetix not the way to go?
  17. Hi guys, I'm on the look out to buy some kinetix HFC in the next month or two (when funds permit!) for my 2007 hr. The only problem is I am finding it difficult to find a UK distributor. I can get the parts delivered from the US but the shipping charges are pretty steep... Anyone got any ideas? Should I just save up a bit longer and get a set of BERK's HFC? Cheers
  18. Thanks for the quick reply, Ive been on here a while just never posted anything!
  19. Hi just wondering as I have a chance to get some quite cheep. think they do as they are both the hr engines, but just want to make sure! Thanks
