    350z exhaust

Just had a look at cs website but nothing there that fits the bill unfortunately.

I can get a brand new amuse r1 Titan for £1750 delivered but there will be a 8 week wait. I will not spend silly money just to get something quicker but am prepared to pay for good quality used or new if it is more readily available.

Either. What do you have in stock then? Or are you a custom fab place?

After a titanium system ideally, cat back or y pipe back both considered. Cash waiting. Can also collect depending on location :-)
  5. Saw it tucked away behind the civic today. Looked very clean :-)
  6. What sort of price are you looking for the SC kit?
  7. I would recommend the yellowstuff front and rear to. I would even go as far as to say go for those over the ds2500's - reason is if you are not going on track the EBCs are alot cheaper and will more than do the job on the road. I got my EBC brembo fit yellowstuff pads from eBay for £110 delivered front and rears! I got the EBC front and rears for track and road use, with rbf600 fluid as its way to easy to boil the oem fluid due to the cars weight. I would recommend this setup. The Z was fantastic on track and pads still have a fair bit of life left on them - and I have a roadster so even heavier than the coupe!
  8. Tyre Universe are brilliant - got a full set of Michelin PSS from them also!
  9. Congrats on the purchase of the best colour roadster!! Top down in this weather in the Z is something else!
  10. Was wondering if was anyone from on here??
  11. I simply go out to a motorway or anywhere you can reach 70-80 (safely of course) and start by braking down from around 50 to 20 a couple of times, then from 70 - 35 and last a couple of hard stops just to make sure they work under full force from 80 (or whatever speed you can happily do) down to around 20. Then pull over and make sure both discs are nice and blue and hot. The horrible smell is normal especially with the ds2500s, and there will probably be a fair amount of dust on the wheels so just see how they feel on the way home and let them cool down before giving the wheels a clean!
  12. Looking good! I know how you feel, after owning mine a week I took it on track and found out first hand how bad the stock brakes were. So within the month I ordered 4 new tyres (pilot super sports) yellowstuff pads front and rear, rbf600 fluid - then found front discs were unevenly worn, so replaced those to. Bought replacement K&N panel filters for no particular reason and have bought numerous new cleaning products. My exhaust is blowing a bit so now toying with the idea of a nice Amuse system
  13. should be a bargaining point for sure. But as said if the car drives ok then try and haggle it down on price. Perhaps do a compression test to be sure? The chances that the seller has disconnected it are unlikely but not impossible.
  14. For what it's worth the yellow stuff don't come with shims - rather a sticky backing for the back of the pad. I've yet to try mine on track but wanted a cheap upgrade until I replace discs to. Yellow stuff were redesigned not to long back and have been fantastic on other cars I have had so will be interested to see how mine hold up on the z on track.

    cheap tyres.

eBay isn't to bad. I got a set of pilot super sports delivered for under £600! That was from a German place to. Ill be putting up my radials for sale soon, loads of life left just wanted something grippier. Not after a whole lot for them so give me a shout if your interested.
  16. That sucks mate, I had a sticky caliper bolt changing my pads 2 days ago, ended up getting the place that changed my tyres to heat it up with a blow torch and remove it for me. Maybe get towed to a local garage or get some titanium drill bits and have a go drilling it out?
  17. Just ordered the Pilot Super Sports! Looking forward to the next trackday now. Will definately post up a review!
  18. Thanks for the welcomes I have used Yellowstuff in the past, and with the new pad design they have really impressed me for the price. I was going to go for ds2500 but am waiting until I put new discs on. I also meant rbf600 - dont even think 500 is still sold is it?
  19. Been looking around the forum for a few weeks now, learning alot and reading through a number of old threads to learn more about the Z. I used the site before I bought my Z to get a idea of common problems and buying guides etc, so with the help of the site (and an US Z forum) I went for a 2007 GT 313 Roadster (think its called a revup?) Absolutley loving it! Took it to Brands Hatch to test it out as it will purely be a summer fun/trackday car. Car was amazing, felt great through the corners and went well on the straights to. The only problem I had, the same as many other people seem to have had is taking it on track with standard brakes, managed to boil the fluid and overheat them on the third lap and had continuous fade throughout the session. Tyres were pretty poor to as they are not the standard Bridgestones I believe these come with? I have already ordered some Yellowstuff pads and will be putting new RBF500 fluid in. I also treated myself to two K&N panel filters and will be going with some Mitchelin Pilot Super Sport tyres next week so as to keep road noise down while increasing grip on track.I should be doing Cadwell at the end of the month with any luck and the Brands GP early in September so am hoping to have alot more fun when the few niggles I had have been sorted. Not really to sure on plans for the future, would maybe like to get a nice titanium exhaust system to get a even nice tone from the V6, and to save weight as the Z roadster is quite a fatty: Then along with upgrading the discs to slotted and drilled ones to help with brake cooling further more, I have no other plans as the car seems pretty solid for now. I do like the replacement Z emblems over the standard Nissan ones but things like that don't really count Sorry for the long first post, and Hi everyone!
