My MOT is coming up and the mechanic I have been with for years (as have the family) has stopped doing MOT's. Does anywhere know of a good place for MOT's in the Bedfordshire area (Near Dunstable).

Does look like a lovely exhaust though, even if it does need work.

Ok, not many reply's there but found some and think it may be best to stick with the smoked orange, I may have a set of genuine Nissan clear reflectors going in the for sale section soon. Reading through threads it would appears its slightly louder which is what i'm looking for. So MOT place and Cobra, talk to me.....

Sorry to hijack the thread but it is relevant, whats the easiest way to fit the reflectors, bumper off or on? If on hows best to get access, through the wheel guard?

Just wonder guys if any of you have any photos of a gun metal zed with clear reflectors? Wanted to change mine but I currently have smoked orange reflectors and didn't know how much of an improvement clear reflectors are.

So does this mod benefit the handling or is this purely for aesthetics?

Mine were awful and I was advised to use mags metal polish. Came up a treat with minimal effort. Well worth keeping on the shelf for a quick shine up.

Been looking at the Buster mod and it looks pretty straight forward. Anyway, picked up the car today and could not be happier! Its the best car I have ever driven, absolutely amazing. Here she is: Completely standard so far. I bought some Mags metal polish after DoogyRev recommended it in the Introductions section. As you can see after only a short amount of time the lights were completely transformed: Before: After: I know they are different sides but both were as bad and I had only done one. I have some clear reflectors on the way, genuine Nissan ones for £25 so cannot complain!

So, head unit recommendations? Also, the car has rear parking sensors, will a new head unit kill these as well? And....if fitting an aftermarket stereo (i.e. Alpine or Pioneer) will they have much effect on sound quality against the Bose head unit on the standard speakers?

Ah that's an idea! Hmm tempting. Need to work out what Bluetooth this thing has as its built in but not the add-on I have seen a lot of 350z owners with. Has anyone got any recommended double din head units, decent makes? Pref with the option to link up the steering wheel controls.

Already introduced myself in the introduction section but basically I have just bought a zed and pick it up on Thursday, was previously a member of a Impreza forum. Just thought I would set up a thread here that I can ask questions on stuff that's probably been posted a million times but I have not bee able to find! Oh, and show off every little mod I do on the new car, saves creating a load of topics! So Ill fire away with the first question, if upgrading the stereo (bose) will it mean I loose the function of the sat nav?

Thought so, I was looking at it and it was lovely. Got mine from Cheshunt so just down the road. Private sale, nice bloke selling it, it has all the extras so very happy. Pick it up on Thursday, cannot wait.

Just out of interest was this from MCE? If so I was looking at it before they told me it was sold, very nice car and if you hadn't snapped it up I probably would have! Just got mine yesterday.

Hello! Just bought myself a 350z, still waiting to pick it up yet so not had any fun, it has all the extras! Used to own a Impreza Sport and was active on the www.imprezasport.net forum until it recently closed down. I'm going to be doing some reading in what you can do with these, I know there's not much potential in increasing BHP but I have read about remapping and the mods available. Could do with new headlight as the current one has gone misty, if anyone is selling one let me know.
