  1. Hello fellow zed lovers.

I recently put a new xtd clutch and flywheel on my zed. Once it was all done the car wouldn't start which I later found out was the crank angle sensor was knackered (ordered a new one from nissan) but it would start if I unplugged it. I took it to garage D and they ran the diagnostic on it and confirmed it was the sensor. So I drove it home and parked it up.

When I went to start it this morning it wasn't firing up, it was trying to but then I started to smell fuel. I got out the car and looked underneath and there it was a nice puddle of fuel. I saw it dripping from the passenger side of the engine. I'm hoping maybe its just a split pipe.

Could anyone give any advise or knowledge of fuel routes so I can locate the problem please.

    Thank you

  2. Just when I had got supercharging mine out of my head I went and watched that video, DAMMMMM YOOOOU! HA HA sounds amazing and looks awesome to. Now all I have to do is start a secret savings from the misses and get it done. I say secret as she wasn't best pleased when I told her I was having a service done, and 3 weeks later came back with a fully rebuilt uprated engine with new exhaust system. Could have got away with it to if I hadn't left the invoice on my passenger seat WHOOPS!!

Just thought I'd share that story as I found it funny, awesome work dude, internet high five

  3. I prefer the 'deep bellow' but you're just not going to get it from the zed's v6! Your best bet is probably the Milltek.

Oh yeah I know that but by deep bellow I mean compared to the raspy sound I have now, sounds like a cross between a motor bike and a farari

  4. I have a full exhaust system but I have a power enterprise back box, if you don't know what that is it's a Japanese company (My cars an import) and I really want a deep sound I do love the raspy noise but I've always liked that deep bellow.

Any help would be grateful also I will be selling my old back box, it is unusual as it has 4 pipes and upsweep, cheek out my gallery or PM me if your interested.

    Cheers

  5. yeah the pounds are falling in to her but the way i see it is if you want a great car you gotta look after it, hence why I've had her rebuild and done all i can to keep her mint. I only have to look at my car and i forget about the money, so its all worth it, well until I put a RB26 lump in her ha ha

  6. Cheers guys

yeah the stubby needs to be changed, its on the to do list. Its always hard with wheels as the can look good on another car but different on your own car. I could of got away with 19's but now I'm glad I didn't. in a few weeks I want to roll the arches and put bigger spacers on.

WackyWill - I may have to copy yours as I love the colour matching of the wheels and door handles

  7. Thats not bad for convenience as they will pick up and drop off.

I just got mine back and I had a full rebuild at Garage-D and that cost £2300, I also had new japspeed manifolds and Y-pipe and my total was £2750. Just to give you an idea. I also get a full service at 500 miles and a 1 year guarantee.

Sucks to hear you gotta pay for it, but I feel your pain as the same thing happened to me

  8. very nice, like the wheels, good shine for silver, like the z badges ( so expensive for what they are, but without the nissan burgers most people dont know what car it is) B)

Thank you very much, I took my time and hand polished her, was worth it. I really wanna take it for a drive but I dont want to get it dirty HA HA. As for the wheels when I get back from my next job (offshore project) I'm gonna roll the arches and get bigger spacers. I cant go any lower as I scrape already. You are 100% right about the badges though.
