I should get the bill for mine early next week so I will let you know. Although I'm having all uprated parts put in mine but it will give you a rough idea. Where abouts you from?

I feel for you dude, My engine shat the bed 2 weeks ago and it currently being rebuilt. I had to bite the bullet as the company I bought my zed from dissapeared, well they now trade under a different name "big boys toys" Apparently this happens with some smaller car dealer or should I say con artists!! So I know exactly how you feel.
It was good of them to sort the other bits out but 13k is a mental price for a new engine, you can buy 2 zeds for that. Hope you get it sorted mate. Go for the rebuild then you can start from fresh knowing the engines been looked after.

I have a import and I was always lead to believe they have a 85L fuel tank and the UK one has a 80L tank. I did read it some where, i'll try and find it.

I'm surprised that nobody has pointed out that blue neon underlights are illegal (as are red ones). These are reserved for emergency vehicles and you will at some stage attract the attention of the police. Any other colour should be O.K though if you like that sort of thing. I should point out that it isn't illegal to fit red or blue neons but they can't legally be used on U.K roads....

We had a meet in the summer at our place, Tradelink cars HQ. I would happily host another one.
We are in Kings Langley, nr Watford. WD4 8HR.
We had quite a good turn out last time...
That would be sweet as all the other meets are so far away for me as I'm from hertford

Like many of you I bet I'm not the only one who has watched or has been watching the fast and furious films. It may be the fact I am 25 and have the mental age of a 12 year old but I gotta say I like neons on a car. I've built myself up for the abuse so dont be shy, be interesting to hear what you guys think?

I had the same problem about 2 months ago and now my car is in the garage having an engine rebuild. VQ35 engines hate it when they are starved of oil, thet get all upset and poop the bed.
hopefully this wont happen to you

I'm sure the 350Z has a Cat 1 Thatcham approved alarm as standard so I don't really see the point in wasting money on another one unless you're after the remote start feature that some of them have.
Mine came with a Sterling alarm as the standard fob doesn't work. I only have one fob and don't have much faith/knowledge on the current alarm hence why I want to waste my money on a decent one. Also I'm having my engine rebuilt and new exhaust so I'd like to protect it as much as I can.
Know what I mean?

Interesting to read, My engine died 2 weeks ago currently being rebuilt and from the looks of it it was due to the combination of low octane fuel and lack of oil. Just wanna say now that this was done be the previous owner/s. As I only had the car for 4 months before its started knocking. When Julian at garage D stipped it he said it was text book result of the bad fuel and lack of oil. Once it starts knocking and burning oil it was game over from there.
Strangely enough going back to the whole RPM convo, when mine was running the knocking it was only really loud at 2,500 - 3,500 RPM. I was also running Mobile1 5-30 but with my new build it will be running Lucas oil and will be running nothing less than 98 octane that for sure.
