Im after some winter tyres for my spare 18" rays. Gonna remove my 19's as i fear it may be a death trap in the snow!! Can anyone recommend a good supplier, cheap preferably as theyre only gonna be used for a few months during the year...hopefully!!! (eeeks!!)

Could be worse. Driving once in my old WRX when another Subaru came from the opposite direction. They flashed and as it got closer I flashed back & waved too only to see the fittest blond girl driving it and waving back. That was an awkward conversation with my Mrs; "How do you know her then?!!!" "I don't it's just she's driving the same car too, honest". Lol.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! That is soooooooo funny!! Made my day lol!!

Felt guilty the other morning as i drove to work in a world of my own and getting carried away listening to 'Take the power back', for there, coming the other way was a nice black Zed happily flashing his lights at me!!...and being all fingers and thumbs in the morning alas i missed the opportunity to merrily flash back until the moment was gone!!

 

I expect he'll post on here about other Zed drivers not flashing back but to that person...I TRIED!!!!!

Hmmmmmm its actually starting to sound like all makes and models are a nightmare!!!!!....apart from Zed drivers of course!!

Yea, forget boy racers, it's always middle aged men in oil burners that drive like idiots around me.

 

You litteraly can't overtake one without them pulling out the slow lane and getting on your tail.

 

Their ego must take a hit every time someone passes them In a nice car and they feel the need to score some man points by beating said car in a race.

 

Either that or they get excited and want to see you give it some, I'm not sure. I've found those god awful turbo diesel skoda octavia's to be the worst. God knows what they're trying to prove, they would get stomped on if I was stupid enough to entertain the idea.

What colour are you thinking of getting??

Always loved White cars, Toying with the Idea of Matte White...

Matte white is nice although a bitch to wrap if its a dark car...i personally wouldnt wrap mine in matte as i saw one in black and it seemed to dull the great curves the zed has...id wrap it in a gloss colour, theres loads to choose from. Theres a few matte wrapped Zeds on google if you wanna check them out.

Look's good from here zippypooz although the colours not my favourite obviously. Thing with wraps is I've seen some bad ones that looked good from a distance but it's when you get up close that you can see the problems. For example; Myself & a mate of mine used to run our own catering company together, we had our 7 metre Iveco van wrapped with logos/pics etc. Looked great at first but then we noticed that the muppets who did it had cut too deep with there scalpels and actually scored lines in to the paint work. Some of which where down to bare metal. I'm sure though you haven't done that but just saying that's all.

Yeah i know, we never cut into the vehicle and there are actually tapes you can use for that. Im a bit of a perfectionist so i take a little longer than some, many think its all about getting it in and getting it out as soon as. Theres a lot of bad wrappers out there with no knowledge of vinyls and wrapping. And at the end of the day, you get what you pay for. If someone says they can do your Zed for instance for £1000 walk away. Handles, lights and badges should all come off when wrapping, in fact anything you can take off should be taken off if it means the finish will be better. My stuff looks like it is supposed to, not the cheapest but i always do a good job as if it were my own!!..cheaper than a respray though!!

Wasn't a fan of Matte Black on a Zed. Don't know If I will like Gloss white as much as Matte White.

I Do like Baby blue.

Matte white is nicer yes, there is a baby blue material or you could go purple!!! or lime!!! Gotta do a purple wrap on a fiat spider soon i think so i'll post some pics to give you an idea!!

Make sure you heat it up with a heat gun, should come off fine, if not, use dental floss, put the floss behind the badge and with a left and right motion gradually work your way through the adhesive!!

oh so its NOT just me then lol!! I ended up racing an 2011 Audi A5 Coupe after he seemingly got stuck to my arse...stuffed it, mainly round the corners, then i slowed and let him catch up. Kept a sensible distance after that!! Was fun though...and a tad naughty but not dangerously as i dont wanna right my Zed off. Wouldnt race an A7 though!!
