Cant create any down-force with that tiddly little wing on the 2015 version....like I'd really notice that.... P1010931 by jono.6395, on Flickr

Not to my knowledge. Its called sticking an Iphone on a phone holder on the windscreen and using a GPS speedometer. It would have been better to have put a digital speed read out on the otherwise redundant voltmeter in my opinion.

Mine is 295 - got it back in April when there was only 1 silver available from stock. Might be more now. I was prepared to wait for this colour but luckily there was one. What a fantastic beasty.

  5. Its a good blast, no doubt - in any colour! Don't seem to be too many silvers in the UK. Dealer made it out to be some special colour - but its actually just universal silver. Which is fine. Make sure they give you the nice Nismo handbook folder. They're short of them apparently, and Nissan had to send mine separately. Dealer threw in a Tribos treament, which was well worth it, unless you really like waxing your car. I prefer to drive it :-)

Good idea. Taking my silver Nis out this coming weekend for some picture snapping so will post here. Havent done so thus far as Ive been enjoying driving her waaaay too much!
  13. Actually, if I'm thinking about it, almost every single car I've ever owned from new has had a problem within 3 months, except once - a Toyota Celica (!). So around 5 out of 6 cars has been back to the dealer for something annoying. No awards for them from me anyway! Oh, and the TVR. That didnt have ANY issues. Except when it caught fire that time... But that was in a class of its own.
  14. This might be of interest. 370Z has crept into the top JD Power awards. https://autos.yahoo....-232400542.html
  15. Another good test for the Tribos treatment on my paintwork...living near the sea, gulls are always a menace, in particular the huge amounts of dung that leave their behinds in mid air.... Well yesterday I had a good spin in my Nis, left it to go to the pub, returned only to find a very large amount of the above adorning my lovely cherished beasty. However, a few simple wipes, and it all came away with no effort. I'm starting to think its worth it for chaps living near the sea anyway.....
  16. Rear view. Possibly more silvery here. I need to get out and take some properly.
  17. Agree can't hurt. These micro coatings attract a bit of a 'marmite' reaction on car forums - I probably wouldnt have bothered if it hadnt been 'free' - they even did my glass and interior. Very professional guys. Here's a better sized pic. More later.
  18. Bird lime for example just kind of sat on the paintwork and could be wiped off easily - didnt really get onto the paint. quite impressed.
  19. I had an interesting journey to the Nismo Z - previously had a TVR T350, sold in 2008, missed her like hell, then le crisis put paid to boys toys....after all that, I tried out a well sorted Cerb, a supercharged Dax Cobra, even the GT86. Variously felt rattly, underpowered (or over powered!) - then I tried the Nis. Wow. Super sharp, precise handling, well built - but it had the soul of a truly mentalist sports car. This is what the Nismo folks have done in my opinion - carefully worked out what chaps like us want, and delivered it. Genius. I'll post a few more pics when I get out. The silver contrasts well with the red calipers. Nissan threw in a free Tribos treatment, too early to say whether it works longer term, but so far so good.
