has anyone sold their private reg plate on a retention certificate through a reg transfer company and if so how did it go? did you receive your money etc? Reg transfers have informed me they have sold reg and want me to sign and send a POA (power of attorney) letter and my reg certificate to them and then i will get paid once DVLA confirm to them that it has been transferred to the new owner! am i being to dubious? just feel like i could get ripped off?

there are two slight variations for the 370z from what i can tell. I know a guy in the US that makes them but he is pricey and then there will be the shipping to add on top. I am in the process of designing something which might fit into most peoples budgets though!
