Sorry to hijack the thread a little bit, I dont suppose you were in the blue 350z in swad sainsburys carpark this morning? I keep seeing it and never get chance to look at who owns it?

Their in the shed at the minute but I'll pull it out asap.

At a guess I'd say the centrepipe is 150x10x10 and 5kg and the backbox is 100x50x50 and 15kg.

If it was the Black/Blue fortune rx7 that was there i'd give everyone a wide berth. Beautiful car that.

Top day although I didn't meet any of you. Saw the blue 350 come off on the first corner. Track was like driving on ice though. My enjoyment severely hampered by my missus screaming at me every time I put my foot down. Got some great snaps of our stand but still on the camera

regarding a helmet for the track session.

ive seen it mentioned that the circuit has loads. Is it worh risking them not having one as opposed to spending £80 or so on one. I still dont have one and would rather save a few pennies.

id have thaught £30 minimum as they are odd shapes

only very slightly. Its a deeper tone which tends to sound louder than it is. Good sounding exhaust though.

Right after a "when are you going to shift that exhaust from the shed" memory trigger this needs to be sold. It has now been stainless welded and buffed. I havnt tried the exhaust on the car but it has been welded in 3 places on each pipe and feels rock solid.

Just as a small update i broke out the micrometer and measured up the gap on mine and will be having some ABS machined to suit, hopefully a gap-filling solution by the weekend. I Shall report back.

(italian people will slap people who put garlic and onion together in a sauce (trust me on this) so dont bother)

as stupid as it sounds have you closed the boot properly. Mine sometimes latches enough not to trigger the light but is still open a crack. makes it much louder than usual.
