Evening all, So went to start my car a couple of days ago to be welcomed by a hideous screeching noise which was not a simple bit of belt slippage. After realising I popped the bonnet at 6am to find my air con compressor pulley not turning and everything else working normally do therefore creating my awful screech. Quickly turned her off and grabbed a screwdriver, where i gave the pulley a gentle persuasion by hitting it with the handle of said screwdriver. Started the car and after a split second of screech the noise was gone and the compressor was turning! Now what I'm after is some light shed on how these compressor pulleys work, because I know they have a clutch in and I know the have bearings but I'm not 100% sure on how they work. Admittedly the morning was a very cold one and a frozen pulley was my first thought. However I do get a small screech when I start the car every time from cold which hasn't always been there. The belt doesn't seem to be worn and the pulley condition looks fine. Anyone have a similar experience?! Thanks Dan

PRICE DROP & NEW ADDITIONS! I have a few things for sale after clearing my garage. Japan racing JR18 wheels powder coated in Pavo purple, 19" 11j et22 rears and 9.5j et20 fronts. Wrapped in Nakang Ultra Sport NS2's in 275/35 rears and 235/35 fronts. The wheels are near mint and tyres have done about 2-3k miles with loads of tread left on them. looking for SOLD A full set of purple extended wheel nuts and slimline socket to remove them. They are in reasonable/ good condition with obvious blemishes from fitting and removal. SOLD Set of 4 standard springs, came off the car at about 70k miles. Good condition, £15 ONO Set of rear standard studs, removed for longer ones. Perfect working order. £5 ONO Rear JDM fog light cluster wiring loom, (So no fog light. Indicator and second reverse lamp) £5 ONO Rear wiper arm, wiper and motor. All in good working order when removed. £10 ONO Set of 4 locking wheel nuts and key. Standard ones from factory on the 350Z. SOLD Two cobra sport 4" rolled tip, tail pipes. These are interchangeable on the cobra sport exhaust for the 350z. Good condition, some tar/carbon spots on the bottom of them and a slight blemish on top of one from rubbing on the bumper. Come with two clamps. £15 ONO 1/4inch/6mm 350z plenum spacer. Not sure on brand but comes with the little plastic spacers and bolts. Bought it for my old 350z but never fitted it. SOLD All prices are negotiable, and pick up is from Andover, SP11 6UG. So here is my Supercharged Zed for sale. I have owned it since May and enjoyed every minute of it. However I have come to the unfortunate conclusion that I have too much money tied up in the car, for my current situation. The car has been owned by me and previously Jetpilot (Jon) from the forum. The car: 2004 Zed VQ35DE Pre-facelift Just under 76k miles as I write this advert (In use daily) MOT until end of April 2017 Nissan Service History up to 51k miles where I believe the Ex Mechanic owner previous to Jetpilot carried out his own maintenance along with the installation of the V3 blower. Followed by Jetpilot with the boys from the one and only Zed Shed. 3 keys with the car, 2 remote keys and one which I can only assume is the valet key? Modifications: Engine: Vortech V3 Supercharger which has covered around 3500-4000 miles since fitting. Stealthy black intercooler (can only assume it was custom made due to no markings or receipts) APS extra capacity sump fitted around February this year along with a new filter and filled with Fuchs Titan race oil. HKS cat back exhaust matched with Cobra High flow cats. New Extreme clutch fitted Mid April by the Zed Shed boys, along with new Crank position sensor. Walboro inline fuel pump with stainless braided hoses. Car Properly mapped at Horsham Developments to 417.8 Bhp. Exterior: Full Vinyl wrap in Gloss Hexis Traffic grey. HR Bonnet fitted. Smoked Rear lights and indicators/ reverse lamp. Smoked front reflectors Smoothed front and rear badges. Carbon fibre bumper duct/ air feed for Supercharger 370z Side repeater conversion. Ings style front lip. Blitz rear spoiler. Import rear bumper. G35 Spats/ splash guards. Top secret style rear diffuser. Privacy tints. LED side lights and silvatec indicator bulbs. Suspension and braking: Japan Racing JR18 19 x 11 rear & 19 x 9.5 alloy wheels powder coated in 'Pavo' purple, covered in Nakang Ns2 tyres with plenty of tread. BC coilovers covered around 6k miles. Eibach anti roll bars and camber correction. Mtec J hook brake discs with EBC brake pads. Purple extended wheel nuts to match wheels. Interior: Alcantara wrapped dashboard. Gloss black centre console and dial surrounds. Double din head unit with satnav, Bluetooth and ipod support. 6.5inch door speakers replaced with better units (Can't remember the make) and amplified. Along with custom under strut brace sub box. (Sounds amazing) Custom Alcantara and leather re-trimmed steering wheel. Alcantara gear gaitor. Custom 350z Aluminium gear knob. The car really is a fine example of a 350z and I'm sure I've missed some information on mods or some other things, so please don't hesitate to ask. Little update! Finally got my new wheels after an annoying mess up by JR. Then after buying tyres and going to have them fitted and the tyre machines head shearing off at ATS! Been waiting a good four/ five weeks... Anyway finally fitted them so here's some pics! I'll get some better pics soon and more hopefully at Castle Combe on the 10th. That's all for now folks

Yeah I seen that they have two sizes. Good to know that I need 22mm. The one I get will only be for aesthetics anyway, as I'm pretty sure an aluminium hinged tow hook wouldn't take like upwards of 1500kg shear force lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

First of all, sorry if this is in the wrong section. Wasn't really sure where to put it. I was just wondering which tow eyes people have? Not the standard ones, the fancy tow rings/hooks etc. I'm wanting one in gold/orange colour as similar to the been I colour as possible. Has anyone else got a gold one?
