I am thinking about something different so here is a half a***d effort to sell my daily. 2001 (X-reg) BMW X5 Sport 4.4i, finished in Topaz Blue with cream leather interior. Five-speed Auto gearbox. 100,000+ miles. Full dealer service history, MoTed until May 2015. Excellent exterior apart from a small scrape on twoo doors. Factory-fitted extras include CD Changer, front and rear parking sensors, electric adjustable seat with memory, auto wipers, auto dimming mirrors, rear heat/cool, BMW phone attachement and 19-inch alloy wheels. Car has OMVL LPG system in it with recent service. works great and make the car cheaper to run that the diesel alternative.asking £5000 ONO. I have recentl fitted complete new front suspension arms (have ball joints going in this weekend). My friend bought these for me as a present but I cant be bothered to prep and paint them so I bought some from tarmac ;-). No idea where they are from but I do know they need rubbing down and painting. £30 collected but can post at buyers expense.

It's a poly 1. The interior noise is definitely louder but it isn't offensive especially when cruising.

So I thought I would let you know about the transmissions mount that Tarmac sourced for me. It is from a company called torque solution and it was super easy to fit taking me a grand total of 45 mins in my drive way. I also found that you can change it quite easily without removing the y pipe provided you have a 14mm spanner. I bought it because I read some threads talking about how it reduced gear crunching for some people and this is something my car suffers with. After fitting it the first thing you notice is the noise. It makes your car sound awesome! It's a really deep roar. The gear stick doesn't quiver any more and the car drives so much smoother When piling on the power. This may be a placebo effect of the noise but it also feels like the car is more stable going into turns aswell. I also am yet to get a grinding gear with it but this could be misleading as I have only done about 100 miles. The only down side I have found so far is that when you are crawling along you hear every noise the gearbox even thinks about making but this is gone by the time you hit 20. Maybe this would annoy you if it was your daily drive. anyway, that's it! Thought this might answer some questions for anybody thinking about replacing their mount too.

Thanks, that's the Ceramic Pro - I recommend it to anyone skilled enough to apply it. It does require headlamps and masks (toxic fumes). The result is what you see (for the cars life time - it will never need polishing or washing with chemicals again - poo just wipes off with a cloth, bugs won't stick and in heavy rain I don't even need to use the wipers . It would be perfect to protect a soft-top too. Oh, and check this out:- do you work for them? What a great advert!
