What did they add that weighed 70kg??
-
good effort, not sure whether it should finish so close to the lights
-
the main thing to watch for is there is a bleed nipple on each side of the caliper, unlike the single one used on most ordinary brakes
-
just change your name to JE54 BBS

The main problem I had was undoing the nut off from the joint at the hub carrier and I ended up cutting it off, being v careful not to damage the threads on the stud. I didnt try any heat on first though and that would have helped.

Reports tonight of this road regularly being used for racing after dark

Good to meet everyone, some lovely cars and a cracking day for it. By the way Matt if you turn left out the car park it takes you up to the road out of town, but you'd miss most of the exhaust reverb off the castle walls which i enjoyed!

going to pop along to meet up (I'm only 2 miles away), but cant do the run

On a different note, I dont understand why they got rid of reflector strip at the rear of 911s post 993. The separate tail lights just look terrible. It was a real signature of the 911 and it it just went and I cant remember any journos even mentioning it. I know the 991 c4 has a vestigal light strip, but its not the same.
Anyone feel the same?

Looks fine, I like the slopey sides, the only thing I'd say is that when there arent the normal number of characters in the reg, the plate looks better when its the normal length and not shortened.

Hot air going into the intakes?

Nice video, car sounds really good

From the way you're talking I would definitely get someone to do them for you. I did mine and it was not straight forward - and I got a local place to press the old bushes out and the new bushes in (cost a tenner) .Yep definitely bought the parts for both sides, he also recommended some seating cones, bought them too.
Just saying

Some beautiful photos here - so the Daily Mail is good for something
Fantastic pics There's just something magical about Spitfire design
Makes you wonder why they gave their lives when you look at the mongrel nation we are now. But then again were a global community now.
Still it's a shame everything they gave and everything that was invested to make Britain great is all for nothing now as anyone is allowed in to use/abuse the country.
I believe they did it to halt the rise of mindless right wing lunatics, hell bent on domination and oppression of other people, for no reason other than them being of a different country, race or religion.
Well yes and thank god they did.
But I'm sure the individual at the time fought for Britain and what it meant to be British.
If they'd have known how it'd turn out 75 years down the line I doubt they'd have been as solid in their convictions.
They were a bit a mongrel bunch themselves - Poles, Australians, South Africans, Kiwis, Canadians, Czechs, French, Belgian, Irish etc

It probably just need replacement compression arm bushes - its really common and it wont cost 800 quid (think they are about £35 each?). Better to find a recommended specialist - someone will recommend one

Welcome along. Good luck with your hunt!

Nice to have the option of not working on the drive - looks like a horrible job

I know that they can be very difficult to remove and you could damage it trying - if its held in by corrosion or corroded bolts i would leave it alone. I've just done the front wheel bearings on my vw sharan and theres no way the sensors wouldve come out. I pressed out the hub using a bottle jack, no hammering involved until i put it back in.
New clutch help required.
