  1. How do you get them off Alex? I have no problems with them.

I've got a really nice passenger one. £25 posted.

I also have some not so nice driver ones, but please PM if interested etc.

    Thanks

    Jon

Hi, do you still have this?

Not to worry, Ive managed to repair mine

  2. What a great forum this is!

What I do know is that if you sort your depression out, the other things will probably fall into place.

What I have learned about it over the years is that it is due to this chemical imbalance in your brain,

(which the Prozac attempts to address). The reason the imbalance occurs in the first place can be down to the

way you think about things, your outlook on life. So what/how you think has a physical effect on your body

    - if you think this is odd, it shouldnt really be a surprise!

You definitely need counselling/CBT, private would be better as it can start quickly - you can get counselling

on the NHS, but the waiting time can be long. In the meantime, there is a website called "Moodgym" which is

    useful and free.

Also I know there is a great website called "Youngminds" - not sure if there is something similar for the more

mature chap, but they may be able to point you in the right direction.

    You will get though it.

  3. Well, I'm going to try a colour a local refinisher has said matched most alloys - renault silver code D69. If the results arent too dire I might post a pic of them. meanwhile heres the wheels after being blast cleaned - nearly had a heart attack when I saw them, but the high build primer seems to work well - at least it should be well keyed in!

  4. Bit of googling suggests it's to stop it from freezing in cold weather.

Every day is a school day

I used to have an alfasud and they had really long inlet manifolds. Anyway, when you blipped the throttle frost would form on the top of the manifold and then immediately disappear due to heat from the engine. I'm pretty sure its due to the pressure drop caused by the throttle opening and this causes the air temp to drop (Boyles Law?!) and cool the manifold enough to freeze any moisture on it. Frost/ice in the induction system is bad news - in carburetterd aircraft pilots apply carb heat to stop ice forming.
